Please check in at least 1 hour before your wave and at least 1 hour prior to the first Finals on Sunday for the finals.
Be ready for your wave. You will be scratched from the heat if you are not available.

Event Details/Entry Information
 This is a United Kennel Club sanctioned event. Participants may earn UKC Dock Jumping titles in addition to Splash Dogs titles. For more information on the Splash Dogs UKC Titling Program please visit Splash Dogs UKC Titling Program
- "Fly in Memory of Primo is in honor of an American Staffordshire Terrier rescue dog who truly loved to fly! Primo was a pheonmenal ambassador to his breed, a pristine package of terrier. He was strong, powerful, driven and yet very obedient, he loved to perform and his form in the air was breathtaking and inspiring. He was up for anything and did it all very well. Primo, a rescue dog from nothing, flew through the air and into the hearts of many. Primo was owned, loved and lost by Lucia Corace and Vito Burggraf of San Francisco, CA.
- Splash Dogs is Calling all Pit Bulls We want to encourage all water loving good hearted pit bulls to come out to Splash Dogs! Pit bulls will receive a $1 discount, which will be donated to the Animal Farm Foundation of New York Definition of "Pitbull" (American Pitbull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier). There will be a "Primo" Final on Sunday, August 8th which is for Pitbulls only.
- Event Entry: You must PRE-REGISTER to attend this event. UPDATE - All Splash Dogs participants are to go through Gate 5 Pre-registered participants will receive one free entry per competing dog. You MUST have a print out of your entry confirmation email (please email info@splashdogs.com if you need resent a copy of this) to gain free entry. All others in your party must enter through the regular gate and purchase entry to the fair. Splash Dog participants may pull up to Gate 6 (the 'Carnival Gate' on Brookwood Avenue) to drop off gear and kennels.
- Parking: Parking is in main Fair lot and is $6 per car/day.
- Crating: The Splash Dogs pool/dock will be located at Founder's Grove. Splash Dogs participants may bring canopies – the area is mostly shaded by Redwood & Eucalyptus trees. You must bring a crate or ex-pen to confine your dog when not jumping. Dogs must be kenneled or confined in the competitor crating area when not participating at the dock/pool or going to/from Splash Dogs venue or designated potty areas.
- Venue Rules: NO DOGS OUTSIDE OF THE SPLASHDOGS AREA! You must be Pre-registered to attend this event. When dogs are not participating at the dock/pool or going to/from Splash Dogs venue they should be kenneled in the competitor crating area.
Event Rules/Information
- This is an outdoor event to be run into pool.
- The dock will be a 40 foot trailer dock with astro turf surface .
- Training for new comers and others will be provided.
- This event will be open to all dog / handler teams who wish to enter as space permits.
- Please bring crate to store your dog or have other means to store your dog.
- Abuse will not be tolerated.
- Absolutely NO pushing, shoving or throwing your dog into the pool.
- Please have dogs shots up to date, tags or bring current shot and vaccine papers. Please be responsible for the safety of your dog and others!!!
- Dog / handler teams may enter only one or as many Splash Competitions as they wish (a separate entry fee must be paid for each wave)
- Dog / handler teams will be placed in groups of up to 15 teams within each heat.
- Each team will receive two (2) competition jumps.
- One dog/ handler on the dock at a time during competition.
- All dogs will have the opportunity to acclimate to the dock area prior to their first official competition jump as time permits.
- Allotted practice time based on event time constraints.
- The dock will close to all practice jumping 15 minutes prior to the start of each competition Wave, for competitors warm-up.

- Handlers or handlers representatives must be present to accept ribbons and awards.
- Ribbons will be awarded after each heat, so stick around. Ribbons will not be mailed.
- Female dogs in heat will NOT be allowed to compete or in the competition area.
Event Registration
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:
- This Splash Dogs event is open to any dog / handler team who wishes to enter. You may do this in one of two ways: Online or on-site
- You will then be required to pay the registration fee, sign a waiver and show papers when you check-in at the event.
- Register on-site at least one hour prior to the heat(s) in which you would like to compete.
- Pre-Registrants will be given PRIORITY for entry in a wave
- Heats will be determined as competitors enter.
- Entry e-mail confirmation -- please provide email address with registration.
- On-site registration will be available only as space permits. Please pre-register to ensure your spot in a wave.
- There will not be a credit card machine at this event. Payments will be accepted in the form of cash or check.
Splash Registration Fee is $20 and $20 for additional splash competitions, payable to Splash Dogs (cash, check) when you check in onsite at the event). $20 to practice. If you decide to compete your practice fee will apply towards wave entry fee.
