Hi Sandra,

Yes, I plan on being there to take photos--I took over 1500 at San Jose and am having a blast doing it. The excitement and enjoyment of the dogs and everyone there just makes it so much fun to take these pictures :D Hopefully the pictures will be better. There just wasn't a lot of room to maneuver at Mel Cottons and too many bright reflective surfaces that played havoc with the camera. But yes, we'll be there--wouldn't miss it for anything :D

I don't know if you have the capabilities to print the photos at the event but if you do (we had a photographer do this) you will sell alot more photos. Let me know.

Yes, we plan to take pictures in Reno and Auburn - we set up the website so that people can order prints. Just go to our site and then click on "view and order splash dog pictures" and then you will get to a page that you can order from shutterfly. They will print them and send them to you.

We are having a blast with it - not only the event itself and having so much fun with Maxx and all of you folks,,, but also Howie loves to do the pictures and I enjoy doing website stuff - so we just thought it would be a great thing to do. We plan to make some improvements with the workflow of dealing with all the photos in order to create even better ones in the future.

Hi Sandra,

Because of the volume of photos I take, it really wouldn't work to print them out at the event. I go home, sort through all I've taken, pick out the best and clean them up, adjust them, etc, in Photoshop before I post them. I want them to look as nice as possible so folks can see what went on and/or purchase any if they like. I'm currently taking approximately 900 photos per day and I want to provide the very best shots I can :D
