New dog, old dog

We're heading up to Reno to pick up a new rescue dog, and I happened on this site. Our beloved Chester was a great dock jumper, and from what I've seen in the film clips, a lot better than most competitors. Here's a picture of Chester dock jumping in Maine. Unlike most dogs, he could get his feet wrapped around the end of the dock for truly monster jumps. Not sure if this would be legal in competition, but it sure was impressive to watch. Chester crossed the bridge in 1992, but we still keep this picture on our refridgerator.
