OK, I'm probably setting a standard here that I won't be able to keep up with. But, I have the first two days of Shasta results posted on the website. As long as Tony keeps pushing the results out to me each night, I'll try to update daily (Saturday might be an issue as I'm away from my computer from 9am-10pm, but I'll see what I can do when I get home that night).

I love the rapid posting of event results! Keep up the good work Wendy.
Chief and I completed our own private training dock at a secret location on the North fork of the Consumnes river and have been training like mad after our six month layoff. Can't wait to see everyone and have some fun in the sun. Pete and Chief

Good luck to everyone.
Sounds like a great event, looks like I won't be able to make it after all a friend's dog that is staying with me isn't feeling well. Although, all mine seem fine don't want to risk spreading something to competition dogs. Really too bad as Riot has really come into form but guess I'll have to show him off at some other event. Hope everyone has fun and stays cool.

Results are now posted except for lap dog finals and pro final 4 (I know that's the one you all want, but I just haven't gotten it yet!)

Also, titles, rankings and breed records are now up to date with the data I have.

I would like to give a big shout out to the folks at the Shasta Splash that put on an awesome event!!! It is so much hard work putting on an event like this! Thanks so much for your efforts! I know that when it comes down to a club helping put on an event that you get 6 or 7 individuals that put in the bulk of the effort! Awesome job Shasta Splash!!!

Thanks

Team Chloe!!

I would like to give a shout out to my friends Kendra and Kristen! I met the Lee's late last summer!

This was Kristen and Remi's first event! Congrats on your first jumps with Remi! Remi had a bit of a shoulder issue....which limited her a little bit! Remi did a few sit stays which is incredible for a pup that is just over 6 months!! Awesome job Kristen....keep up the great work!

Then there is Kendra and Chloe Noir!! Kendra and Chloe won the Junior Handler Final with a personal best jump of 18'1"! Kendra also qualified for the Pro Finals in 12th position! She got Chloe excited and was able to move up 3 spots and finish in 9th in the Pro Finals! Awesome job Kendra and Chloe!!!

Thank you so much Michelle for bring the crew down to the event! I know it takes a great deal of effort to get the crew packed and on the road!! Plus they sleep all the way...and leave you to the driving! Glad you have a Tom-Tom to talk to you along the way!!!

Great Job Team Chloe Noir and Team Remi!!!

Just a note though on the results, I'm pretty sure that Tinka is not male.

Leland...it was a great weekend! It was great seeing our friends from Oregon! One of the things we all need to do in this sport is get as many Junior Handlers involved! Nothing has been more rewarding for me than watching the progress of Kendra and Chloe! For being so young Kendra has total control over Chloe! Something that more of us wish we had! Now we not only get to watch Kendra..but also Kristen as she brings Remi into the fold!

I would encourage all of you out there to find a Junior Handler to help! I would love to see 5 or 6 in each JH finals.....and hopefully at some point see a full final of JH!!! Wouldn't that be awesome!!!

Junior Handlers Rock!!!

As far as our final four appearance....Chloe's handler is just not figuring out her issues!! Just when I figured it out on Sunday, she was getting tired! We are happy being there helping our friends and watching the big dogs fly! It was great seeing Todd and Bolt make the final four! It was awesome seeing MickeyD getting back to form and hitting high 21's and a 22'! And then there is Tinka....that little girl can soar! (Girl Power!!!)......

It was just a fun weekend with the pups!!! But ....since yesterday was Erin's birthday.....Chloe wasn't the only one sleeping in the dog house! LOL

I'm working on one really I am. Its hard since she's my niece and lives in Medford Organ. If things go good we might have her at the Reno event but I can't make any promises.

I agree we need more Jr. Handlers in this sport. What an achievement to see kids working with some of the most hyper dogs and have absolute control over them.
