Well, I've got a bit of an update from the SRS event in OR. I posted this on Jumpin' Central and copying it over to hear so that no one misses it and you can be proud of your West Coast handlers and dogs!! :D
Yesterday the morning open qualifier jump had to be cancelled due to computer issues. However, the afternoon qualifier jump went on as scheduled and there were approximately 12 dogs jumping in the pro division for Super Fly.
The top four dogs from that were: (and I don't have ALL the details!)
Bart & Gunner 24.04
Shari & Nevada 23+
Tracy & Kona 23+
Raider 19+ (?)
Dosie Flyer 17+
I'm not sure on other scores, but I know that Tracy and Spring are there competing too! I think I heard that Stan was there with Mitch--but I don't think they're competing.
There is also another qualifier that was supposed to go on this morning--no news on that yet--but I know a Border Collie was supposed to be coming into town who is a big jumper! I think the dog jumped 25+ at Roseberg for a DockDogs event?!
There were four dogs jumping for Super V prelims were:
Melissa & Stryker 6'8" (?-maybe higher?)
Bart & Gunner 6'4" (stopped at that height)
John & Bucky 5'2" (grabbed and missed at the next height)
Brent & Raider ...?
When I hear another update--I'll let you know what I find out. I believe the top 3 dogs in both Super Fly and Super V get automatic invites to the Crown Championship next spring.
That's all I know for now! When I hear from my roving reporter...I'll give another update!
