Way to go Melissa and Stryker!
Also a HUGE congrats to Brian and Maximus.. I have to say, I think that was probably that was probably the most exciting jump I've seen at an event to date. . . and because of both Maximus's jump and Brian's reaction.
What a great event!

CONGRATULATIONS to Melissa & Stryker and Brian & Maximus! What an exciting show!! (Tony, you've really got to move SV to the middle of the day!)
My friend, Rhonda, was able to get a great photo of Maximus and his 6'-0" jump - it's a little blurry but perfect timing! (I hope these come thru!)

The best part was when the bumper fell in the water, which Melissa didn't even see! For those of you who weren't there, Stryker pulled one side of the bumper down, at which point Melissa turned around and started cheering. And then, the other side came lose and the bumper fell in the water! We all went NUTS!! And then when Melissa turned around and saw the bumper in the pool . . . well, at that point, she had no choice but to JUMP IN!!
I'm getting goosebumps just writing it! That is a moment -- one of Melissa's many -- that I will never forget!
GO GETTUM, GIRL!!

I agree. That was the topper, seeing Melissa's reaction to the crowd's reaction and then her turning back around and seeing that the bumper had fallen into the pool. Priceless!
Same with Brian's reaction to Maximus' grab. Brian flew into the air about as high as Maximus.
Two memorable moments.

So, just so everyone knows that we did consider putting SV in the middle of the day at Wags.
While we know the audience would have enjoyed it more, it came down to the priority of raising more money for wags. We don't get as many entries and it takes quite some time. So that meant cutting out a regular wave or closing the practice pool (and losing practice money). While it would have been great entertainment, we wanted more money for the make a wish foundation...
Sorry :(

It was awesome seeing all the dogs competing but seeing Melissa turn around and notice that the bumper fell, that was priceless! I'm glad you jumped in the pool- it needed to be done! And, Marty got some great shots of you in the pool :)
wow, Tractor! I don't believe I've seen him in SV before, but he is FAB! I see him hitting new PB's in the future! Nevada, Emmy, Maximus, Hogan, etc...you all did great!
And, if possible, I think that SV earlier would be a great, also.
