Over the years, it has been a joy going to these events, getting to know all of you, and becoming part of the Splashdogs Family.
I love spending the weekend watching, cheering on, and interacting with all of our Splashdogs Kids; Phoebe, Dunkin, Sadie, Tessa, Jillie, Nevada, Stanley, Maximus, Bubbles, Gunner, Hersheys Kiss, Midnight Blue, Rudy, Renegade, Jasmine, Stryker, Sierra, Hogan, Tractor, Crash, Emmy, Dakota, Henry, Salix, Robin, Vandal, Twiztid, Shelby, Aries, Sydney, Mowgli, Alley Kat, Mickey D, etc etc etc......
Regardless of whether they are competing on the dock, or doing rehab swimming in the pool between waves, or just lying around in the sun under their tents, they are ALL AN IMPORTANT part of the event for me.
And, now a new crop of Splashdogs Kids has begun to surface in the last year or so and they also deserve mentioning, because I find them equally entertaining and joyful to be around; Ally, Amanda, Seth, Jordan, Corey, Quinn, etc. The parents of these children deserve a some kudos. Your children are all thoughtful, outgoing, helpful, polite, fun, charming children.
So, thank you to all of you; the young ones, the older ones, and the furry ones for making these weekends so much fun.

Brooke -
What a lovely post! I know I only buzz in and buzz out for a lot of shows, but with training and trialing two dogs in multiple venues and a Senior dog at home it is really difficult to find time for myself. Having said that, I am honored to be considered part of the Splashdogs Family. I feel like "Norm" sometimes coming into Cheers, "Emmy's here!" "Kim and Emmy made it" "FINALLY!" <LOL> Tony still makes time to say hello and everyone is always so welcoming!
I look forward to the next event! Hopefully we'll get to set up and relax with you all for awhile.:)
Oh - and Mark, FYI, EMMY is "THE Flying Squirrel!" ;)

Brooke - Thank you! My girls can be a ruthless crew, but they really enjoyed themselves this weekend and to see all the SD kids pitching in at this event was so cool!
Kudos to the future of our sport!

That is no joke!! Hopefully he'll throw better than his mother! Maybe we'll send him to the "Brian Sardo School of Bumper Throwing" before he starts learning any nasty habits from me!
I am SO LAUGHING out loud!!

It was a huge weekend for us and I can't stop smiling, but we all know how the dock diving show goes, one day your are at the top, next event your somewhere else in the middle of the pack. There are so many great dogs in this sport. Just never know which is going to be your day, you know....I cannot wait for Cyno - talk about an awesome finals on Sunday in every division!

Hi guys
I haven't been able to get online lately but had to get pics out for everyone yesterday and defintely wanted to get on the board today and just ditto everything Brooke said and then some!
It was a blast seeing everyone and making some new friends. I enjoyed watching and listening to our 'new' members on the mike as well as seeing all the Make a Wish kids having fun and knowing I was a small part of that. I loved seeing all the dogs competing, many reaching new heights, as well as playing with the ones that are banned from jumping off the dock ( my lovely god-daughter, Sadie + my own Phoebe). In short, it was all good!
We love all you guys and can't wait for the next event!
