Some Sad News !!!!!!!!

Hey everyone I need to pass along some sad news about whats going on with us today I found out that I well must likely well be lossing my job of 14
years and if this is the case we well have to say good by to our Splash dog Family we have alot of things to take care of first our kids,house & dogs.I have a meeting tomorrow on my Companys stance on why they are letting me go and it does not look good for me I well let you know on their findings I would like to say things well work out but we well have to see tomorrow.

Our thoughts are with you, as we know oh too well how loosing a job effects you. I was layoffed a few weeks ago also. After being with the company 6 years. New company bought us and they decided to let 20 people go. All people who were fantastic at there job and had put time in for the company. The newbies and youngsters and screwups kept theres... Interesting how that works huh.... All I can say, is I know it feels as if you are being kicked in the gut, but make it through the first couple days and then you will realize there is something better out there for you. I know how stupid that sounds now, but there is a reason for everything, no matter how crappy the situation is.. Know we are thinking of you and your family...

Well I had are meeting today with my boss it well now be forward to the big boss's so I have a few days off with pay and I well know more on Tuesday when I well find out if I well be looking for a new job or going back to work on Wednesday I would like to say Thank You for all the well Wishes. Vince I know what your going thru....10 years at my last company and we got bought out by IBM....lost my job also.....did find a new one (Alot less pay which really hurts, but its close to home) I have a feeling things will work out. I work for Siemens now and I know they hire service techs all the time. Go on line to Siemens.com in Cypress and check it out....send me your resume once you have it and I will submit it for you....You just never know. Keep your head up.....

I just saw your notes and I am just hopin' that they do not lay you off. It is horrible after 16 years to go through that. I do not know what you do for Southwest ? Sounds like the computer Technical side from Cindy's comments. The good news is you are not a mortgage lender working in a bank. if you have Techincal skills you have a better shot..plus you are such a nice, sincere guy !

Gosh Vince..we are so sorry. I have always loved Southwest Airlines for all they stand for and how they treat their customers. I am so sad that they would treat a 16 year veteran employee that way.
Please know we are all family, and do not let your Splash Dog family go because from what I can see in my short time of involvement..it is an AMAZING support group.
Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you, Rhoda and the kids plus those great Splash Dogs....
