Where is everyone staying in Reno?

We are staying at the La Quinta. I tried to get a room at the motorlodge of the Atlantis but could not get Saturday night.

sorry to say that we will miss this surprise guest this weekend, but am assuming we'll be seeing them in Auburn - hopefully!!! :D

We have our own little project we are working on for Auburn. Am sure it will keep us busy until then...My daughter Amanda will be handling my older border collie Sassy on the dock for Auburn. They had a debut this weekend at practice and they worked together fairly well, especially considering the handler is 7 yrs old and the dog is 12 1/2 yrs old. Sassy won't jump far, maybe if we are lucky 5 feet, but again this sport is all about having fun! And another Jr. Handler making some waves... :D :D :D :D

I have heard some really nasty stuff about the Motel 6 in Reno. You may want to re-think that one. I don't know what the rate is but I think I got La Quinta for around $85.00. Then you'll be with your Road MaMa and we can keep an eye on you! :wink:

We stayed at the Motel 6 last year and it was terrible. Last year we drove 3 hours to Winnamuca Sunday night so we wouldn't have to stay there another night. We are staying at the Best Western this year.

Well I am sorry to say that Sisko & I will not be going to Nevada this week.
I have some family stuff come up that I must attend to. I will miss all of you.

Aw shucks, Bart, you just touch my heart! Ka'ua and her parents are very honored! We're so happy and proud to know you and Little Gunner and definitely will lend a set of wings to all our West Coast friends.

Hope you make it to Reno, even if its just for one day. We'd love to see you and your special guest!!

Reno and Auburn will be Ka'ua's last events before heading back to Hawaii. Due to other commitments, we will only be in Auburn on Sunday. When I get back to work after the fair, reality sets in and I'll have to purchase our December 1st tickets.

Ok - just cancelled my room at Motel 6. We're at one of the Super 8's, which is fine for me as I get travel points for a free stay later on and am trying to keep cost down as this is an unplanned trip, it's only one night.

anyway - as I see it right now, Gunner and I will be there this weekend. We'll arrive on Saturday. Am I 100% certain nothing will happen to destroy our plan of heading up north - No, but we are certainly willing to try and make it.
