I posted this on DD because a friend of mines dock is being boycotted against by DD, they will not let her advertise that she has a dock and that folks can come jump there. My dock is the only regulation dock that I know of in the state of Georgia, her dock is pretty close to regulation and we are going to help her with that. I apologize for mentioning another organization on UAD or Splash dogs, and by no means am I trying to start a bashing contest of other organizations, we are all here to better our sport. This is just a post to help Kris with her dock, not that she needs it because her agility is through the roof from what I hear. If I had her link I would post it for ya, so if some one would be so kind. Again no bashing please, and if you wanna be a member of Jakes Jumping Dog Organization, you are more than welcome.

Here is my post

Hey from here on out any dogs that jump at my house are Official members of "Jakes Jumping dog club", there are no fees, other than $ 5.00 I ask for to help clean my pool. There are no special perks or anything other than getting to jump your dogs and maybe a cold beer. NO club fees, NO annual dues, what a deal right?
I am not allowed to mention another local dock because of DD policies and I will respect their wishes. I think that is the only other dock in the state that is even close to regulation. The bad news is I guess the Dixie Dockdogs can't jump at my house because they would be in violation of DD policy. Oh and my dock hasn't been certified, which would also make practice at my non sanctioned dock a violation of policy. I really dont think that is a DD policy but apparently the moderator who sent the Email thinks it is.
In a more serious tone, there will be no practice at my house until the "other dock issue is resolved " All this person has done is provide another service to our community for our dogs to jump at and to boycott and shun her for that is.... well you know. I will be supporting her in every single way possible, she has no affiliation with any organization what so ever, she simply runs a buisness training dogs. I am not sure if the problem is because of who she bought the dock from or just "bullying Tactics" It is truly sad that it has to come to this and I apologize to all of the new members and current members of Dixie DD, but I am gonna support the sport and not any one organization, we should all be on the same page here.

yeah I tried to contact the same organization who will remain nameless about the process one goes through to get a dock certified by them as I was thinking about investing in a splash pool and surprise surprise i never heard back from them. What's the deal? wouldn't they want people to have practice docks? the more people that practice the more people that compete.

oh well.

I didn't even know that a dock had to be certified ??? I guess not belonging to any club has it's advantages. It is just gettin crazy out there in this wonderful world of dock diving. Just crazy!!
