We are flying in from Canada for Cynosports.. (thanks so much for a amazing sponsor) How warm does it normally get during the day.. We still have to be very careful with Gumpy i the heat and we will not have a shade tent with us.. I just need to know what to pack for him.. We do have cooling vets and a cooling pad for him. And would it be silly to pack is trover coat?

Last year was fairly warm being in the high 80's and low 90's. I would make sure that you take a red eye flight becuase if the landing destination is 80 or higher you will not be able to fly your dog underneath the plane.
and don't worry about a tent we will squeeze you in somewhere.

We where not able to get a red eye flight from Buffalo NY. We did get one that arrives mid morning. It was the best we could find working around other transportation.
We are looking forward to being out in the sun and warm. It hasn't been to bad here but you can that winter is coming.

I looked at an extended weather forecast for Scottsdale during Cynosports, and it's projected to be in the low-to-mid 80s during the day, and around 50-degrees at night.
That's not bad, considering last year it was well into the mid 90s, probably even hotter.

Very cool - mid morning is a good time as well - temps are still fairly nice in the morning. As Brian said - we'll fit you somewhere so don't worry about that canopy!
My crew is looking forward to meeting Flying Gumpy - he's had my heart since his DLetterman tv airing!

You may have to hide the pittis and Staffis from Sarah-Simone though.. She has a special soft spot for them since we can't have one here in Ontario. (we don't agree with the laws here) She has to leave her Jack/Staffi at home this trip and will be missing him tons. Gumpy is not as much of a cuddle bug as Jitter is.
This is going to be a fun interesting trip.
