I just wanted to say what an inspiration it was to see Dega jump. What an accomplishment to jump over 16' on 3 legs. Gianna you have one special girl there. Teva and I mostly jumped right after Dega and what a hard act to follow. I felt privledged to jumped after her. Good luck in future jumps.
Stacie how is your hand? I forgot to ask you on Sunday?

Thanks Jeff & Kathy!
Miss Dega is our special girl for all our special dogs. Rebecca Corry is another special person that has entered into the Splash Dog family.
I am sad to report that she has a dog that has a stage 2 cancerous tumor removed this past weekend. She actually received the results just after jumping with Mickey D. So grateful to Deb for filling me in on this.
They are wanting to do more surgery to remove more depths of area where the tumor was to ensure they got it all.
I am in contact with her and letting her know that all of us are with her to support and provide love & prayer her dog is NOT lost to cancer.
Dega wants nothing but to always compete with healthy beautiful dogs like Teva and all our others. It is because of people like you guys that make the difference in our journeys.
Thank you for all your love and praise. I am very proud to still have a dog that can be part of a wonderful fun sport. I am even more thankful that she can bring inspiration & awareness to canine cancer.
Lots of gratefulness to you,
Gianna & Miss Talla Dega

Thanks for askin' Jeff...........most of the swelling is down and today the hand is a lovely shade of purple. It's a little sore where all the swelling was but I'm sure it's nothing serious, at least I can still throw for Makena......but even more important, I can still hold a Margarita glass (what a relief!)
Gianna, thanks for the update on Rebecca and her dog, please keep us posted. Heartfelt prayers are being sent their way. Also, Gianna you will probably never know how many people you & Dega have touched and inspired.....thanks just the same for that shining example.
Something was mentioned earlier about the rescue dogs and those who take them in......god bless you all. Let's not forget the ones who aren't the star athletes, the ones who may have "special" challenges........who strive to face those challenges with heart and determination as well..........Miss Dega, you are a true example of heart and determination.......you go, girl!!!!

Stacie - that was beautiful...I'm sitting here crying.
Gianna - send our love and prayers to Rebecca. It is funny how the world works, somehow and someway your paths were meant to cross...
