This past weekend I was Blessed with having the Three most excellent gals attend my little event here in the Pacific NW.

Amanda Tarasewicz

Andrea Yankovsky

Lisa Heitmiller

These three lovely ladies are something else! I wish I could really let them know just how grateful I truly am that they came up here and showed everyone in our area just what this sport is all about. We may not have had hundreds of people there, but, the ones that were had the time of their life. Not one complaint or anything of the sort from anyone,be it spectator or participant. Only ,"when is the next one planned".
The willingness to help out in any way, no matter what,to help create the excellent atmosphere for everyone was stupendous!!
I wish I could write down how my insides felt as we said goodbye but my mind is in outerspace. It is now midnight and I got the last of the stuff put away and the sound trailor hooked ready to deliver back in the A.M.
I just want these three ladys to know that they MADE this event the success it was!!!!!
I am so looking forward to the next time we can enjoy some FAT TIRE together again!
THANK YOU SSOOOO MUCH!!!!
I still can't get over my little Rrrufus busting out those 20+ footers!!!! I told him he could do it!!
Also, Lisa and Andrea Thanks for finding BOcephus's sweet spot for me! It will make training with him so much better. No more guess work!!
Amanda, No words can say it. So I'll simply say Thankyou with a happy little wet drip coming from the corner of my eye.
Good night all!!
Oh and a little shot in the paper also. http://www.tdn.com/articles/2006/09/17/area_news/news07.txt

BrYan,

Your thanks are very appreciated and I know that I enjoyed the event very much! And remember, sometimes quality is way better than quantity! You had quite a few "newbies" come out for the event and I think they're definitely going to be hooked on the sport! Lisa and Andrea did an awesome job with onsite training, etc. I'm sure those new dogs and handlers will be traveling down for SplashDogs events too! Heck, what's an 11 hour drive? Piece of cake! :D

It was a fun event and I loved the tennis ball game in the pool!

For some pictures of the event go to: www.lewisriver.com (under dogs)

I would love to come out again next year and bring Sarge out for it! I'm sure if I could get those ducks to come back next year, I'd get Hope off that dock for sure! 8)

Much love buddy!
Amanda

Amanda,
That was the first event I think I have been to where every pup jumped off a regulation dock. How cool is that!!!!!!!!
