We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the Pet Expo. I have already registered! Yeah!

And, Marty will be there taking lots of awesome (IMHO) photos!

We're going to make the drive to So Cal -- we have family in the area who want to come see Hannah & Torri in action. Haven't seen many of the So Cal folks since Cyno so look forward to seeing you there! Sounds like a fun event too. Anyone else from Northern California heading down?

It's gonna be great & since we've have bothcold weather & hot weather there, it's now time for good warm weather at the Expo.

Have a few questions about pet expo.
Will there be a seperate dock for practice like at wags? have some friends that may want to just bring their dog and practice.
Pre-Registration is closed,so does that mean you can`t sign up at the event?
Are dogs not allowed in the pet expo itself or will we be confined to the splash dogs area.
Sorry for so many ? just never been to this event.

There will only be one pool at this event, the location is a little small for a 2nd pool and dock. Pre-Registration is only closed on Waves 4, 5 and 6. There are still about 10 spots left in all other waves.

Dogs are only allowed in the Splash Dogs area, other than being walked in/out. You may bring canopies and setup camp around the competition area. Crating is on grass.


Have a few questions about pet expo.
Will there be a seperate dock for practice like at wags? have some friends that may want to just bring their dog and practice.

Fiesta Island has whatever you need. I had a Margarita in one hand and skinny dipping at the same time but couldnt post those pictures here, those are private.

So maximus hurt himself playing fetch in the yard yesterday and had to take him in to the vet. He won't be able to play next weekend due to a torn muscle which isn't so bad as I thought he had a cruciate tear but it is still bad timing so we will be watching from the sidelines.

So that frees me up some time to help work on some other dogs so if you need help just let me know.

He will be alright. He is walking around just fine, no strenous activities for a couple of weeks.

Counting the days until the OC Expo! Thanks for sending the logistics email to registrants -- I've been watching my mailbox for the passes so glad to get the update about entry. It sounds like parking is a bit further out for this event so we'll get there early on Saturday -- can competitors leave canopies/crates setup overnight at this event or should we pack in/out each day?

Brian, I'm sorry to hear that Maximus is out of commission for this event ;(
Be sure to take up Brian on his training offer -- he & Urs helped me on my throw at Cyno and I'm more consistent now -- OK, I still choke half the time but better than I was (hee hee). Good thing Hannah still jumps pretty far despite her handler ;)

Hi Everyone! Foxy Brown is doing practice jumping only this weekend. She has never jumped before, but I know she is going to LOVE IT. We are scheduled for today, Saturday, and Sunday; however, we are not making it today (FRIDAY) cause I was unable to get coverage.. LONG story, BUT I wanted to make sure and give up my spot to someone else today during practice. If anyone sees "Foxy Brown" or "Sommit Foxy Brown Anderson", please know that space is free for another doggy.. =) I've never done this before, so I do not know how to do this.. I am very excited.

Hi all,

I havn't missed this event since it started. Unfortunately, Hogan and I are going to be forced to sit this one out.

We had our sister in law with us for the last couple weeks and her youngest dog came down with Kennel Cough. Hogan hasn't shown any signs of being ill, and seems to be past the time where he would have shown symptoms.

All that being said, I don't want to risk him carrying something around with him and spreading something.

This was always one of my favorite events, and I'm sorry we won't be able to attend.

My best to everyone and we'll see you at Wags in July, if not before at some fun jumps.
