I don't believe there is a contingency plan. We've had events where it did rain and believe me the dogs didn't care one bit....the humans, well that's another story...will let you know if there are any changes.

Look at the good side, there is a 60% chance it won't rain. The odds are on our side. I am with Ursula, I have never heard a dog complain of rain!!!

Here is Splash's weather forecast.
Issued by The National Weather Service
San Francisco/Monterey, CA
5:24 am PDT, Thu., Mar. 19, 2009
... A COLD STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE INTO CALIFORNIA THIS WEEKEND...
A COLD STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE OUT OF THE GULF OF ALASKA AND INTO CALIFORNIA THIS WEEKEND... BRINGING RAIN... COLDER TEMPERATURES AND SNOW IN THE MOUNTAINS. RAIN IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN IN THE NORTH SAN FRANCISCO BAY REGION SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND THEN SPREAD RAPIDLY SOUTHWARD OVER MOST OF THE DISTRICT SATURDAY NIGHT... ALONG WITH A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS. RAINFALL IS NOT EXPECTED TO BE EXCESSIVE AS THIS WILL BE A QUICK MOVING STORM WITH A LIMITED MOISTURE SUPPLY.
BY SUNDAY MORNING THE ASSOCIATED COLD AIR ALOFT WILL LOWER SNOW LEVELS TO THE 2000 TO 3000 FOOT RANGE... BUT BY THEN PRECIPITATION SHOULD BE DIMINISHING. COOL AND BREEZY CONDITIONS ARE PROJECTED FOR SUNDAY AFTERNOON... ALONG WITH PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES AND A CHANCE OF SHOWERS. DRY WEATHER SHOULD RETURN TO ALL OF OUR FORECAST AREA BY SUNDAY EVENING... AND THEN CONTINUE THROUGH THE FIRST PART OF NEXT WEEK.
THOSE TRAVELING THIS WEEKEND SHOULD PREPARE FOR WET AND MUCH COLDER CONDITIONS.

The dogs will all be wet already, so no one will care. It's like going to the beach when it's raining, you're already in the water, so what does it matter? Besides, as we catch our dogs on the exit ramp, don't we all get wet anyways? I know I'm not the only one whos dog will take an extra jump if I don't grab him as he's shaking off!

I remember one year at the San Mateo ISE, oh my gosh - talk about down pour! Of course, the dogs had no worries, humans stayed under cover between jumps but everyone still had a blast! I'm sure a few scattered showers won't hurt any of us.
Natalie - I'm looking forward to seeing that beautiful girl Katie!
Hope to see many of you in Pittsburg!!!

You would have thought with all of Tony's contacts, now that he is a celebrity, he could have gotten someone like Al Roker to give the weather report for the Pittsburg area.
