That's great Lisa, I haven't seen you since Wags.

How is Ida doing these days? She still not ready for jumping yet?

Unfortunately, Ida's rehab and recovery are going reeeeaaaaallllly slow. She is still on very restricted activity (short walks and light swimming only...no running, jumping, paws up on things, nuttin :( )

Her next Dr. appt is not until the end of October...

Complete healing time for this surgery is 1 year....so we will see what we end up with come May...LOL!!!

She is happy and pain free and that is the most important thing to me right now. She was rather upset being at WAGS and not being able to go play on the dock, so she gets to stay home with Mike for any other events between now and May (hopefully full release to start training and conditioning again) She will not be 100% Ida again, but at least she should be able to come out a play on the dock a bit just for some light fun like Tonka :D

It will be good to see you and Max again!!!!

What a bummer, an entire year of no jumping. Maybe when she's back on her feet again and jumping she might be so excited and start jumpin 25' footers.

Hi all,

We will be there. Sadie is getting a break from Narcotics Detection training. She just finished the basics and is ready for advanced work. It's all in fun, just something else to keep us busy.

See you soon,
Cindy & Sadie

Hi Melissa,

It's with Ron Gaunt (travelnmandogs) out of Sirius K9 training in Yorba Linda. We have had so much fun doing the basic training, it's been a long 8 weeks of every Monday and Friday night, from 7 till ????, Working full time and still doing at least 8 therapy visits a month.....

Sadie and I just got back from a weekend of riding the jet ski in Laughlin, she has so much fun riding the ski and being around the water.

Bart - that is sweet. I know my homies are here for me on the West Coast. We are family - even if we have to compete against eachother. It's all about having fun!

We are the best coast to ROCK THE DOCK!

Hi

I'll be there with my dog, Dunkin. Phoebe is still not well enough to try her jumping- she will be soooooo mad when we leave without her. BTW, I went on the webiste to register & found a picture of Phoebe flying. Big surprise!

Anyhoo, if Phoebe doesn't get back to jumping soon, I may be posting a new puppy in the family

See ya in Lancaster!!

Hey, Brian

PhOebe  hurt her back at Mel Cotton event so she has been unable to jump or do agility for awhile. She does seem to be feeling much better but I don't want to chance it next weekend. good thing Dunkin is flopping in now or I'd have to adopt before next Sat. cuz I can't stay away.

Hi,

Just wondering if Lancaster is just a one day event? (it looks like it to me, just want to be sure) Does anyone know if there is going to be any pre registration information?

Thanks for the info,
Cindy & Sadie

Just for all know their is no competition. It are no official measurements. The pool and dock is set up and this event is put on for the Lancaster Recreation Department. It is a one day event. The pool is open to all to use with their dogs. Some of the newer dogs will be on one end and the more experienced dogs will be diving off the dock. There are alot of people and it is a blast!!

It will still be good times with good friends and that's what it's all about.

Notice the new dog on the home page picture?

That's Stryker before he was even 1 yrs. old, and now he holds the splashdogs SV record at 7'4"

Those were his big air days and Lancaster will be his first time in over a year trying big air again. We shall see if all that EV jumping will get him jumping big.

I totally agree, there doesn't need to be competition or measurements. It's all in having a great time with friends and letting our dogs really enjoy jumping and having fun.
Sadie and I have met some of the nicest people at the events and just enjoy being there and having fun.

See you soon.

The dogs don't know the difference, but it sure takes the pressure off of us.
