Weekly Departures from Sparks Marina :lol: :lol:

The High Desert DockDogs 2006 jumping season is officially open at the Sparks Marina sailing docks directly in front of Scraps Dog Bakery and the Jib Cafe. The H3D club meets for practice and first timer "flying lessons" on Saturdays and Sundays from 8am to 12noon.

First "flight" will depart this Saturday, May 20th at 8am.

You guys hosting any events out there this year?

Not yet set in stone, however, we are looking to hold a 4-day event at the Nevada State Fair from August 24th through the 27th. Details are still be worked out.

If the 4-day event goes forward, we will be holding a fun-day jump for our sponsor, probably the first Saturday in August.

We are hoping that both events will be SplashDog events.

Other events at Sparks Marina would more than likely be demonstrations by the club to assist the merchants at the Marina (07/04) and raise money for the sailing club that hosts H3D at Sparks Marina (mid-August).

When things are set in stone, we shall once again post!
