View Full Version : Lap Dogs Scoring

In reviewing some of the 2009 results, it looks as if there is a different distance scale for lap dogs this year. For example, at the Lehi, UT event a Jack Russell Terrier jumped 9'3" but the class is listed as "Lap Dog - Senior." At Aurburn, lap dogs jumping 14' are classified as "Lap Dog - Pro" and lap dogs jumping 18' are classified as "Lap Dog - Extreme."
Is there a different distance scale and title schedule for lap dogs this year? If so, how does that affect legs previously earned toward titles and are lap dog title abbreviations then different from the traditional titles?
Thanks!

AH! I partially answered my question on the scale and the retroactivity:

VERY cool! Any idea when the database might be updated to reflect the changes?
Thanks!

Hi Liz,
I have been told by our programmer that the retroactivity of the revised divisions for the Lap Dog class of competition will be updated in the next two weeks.
I also wanted to make note that we wil have the past event ribbons for the Lap Dog Finals for Auburn and Reno available at the Stockton event. For anyone not attending Stockton we will mail them at the beginning of next week.
Hoping to see many Lap Dogs this coming weekend in Stockton!
