The Wags for Wishes Private Dock Time Auction is OPEN!

As in year's passed, Splash Dogs will be auctioning off private dock time on both the "Competition Dock" and the "Practice/SV Dock" as an additional fundraising effort for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of San Diego. Bids may be placed for Friday 7/10, Saturday 7/11 and Sunday 7/12. Private Dock Time will run from 8am - 9am. You will have free run of the dock to practice for competition, take pictures or have private playtime with your pooch and a special guest or two.

This year, we have two docks to choose from:
"COMPETITION DOCK": this is the dock that we will be using for all competiton waves. It is Splash Dogs competition compliant (2 feet off the water surface and is a 40 foot dock).

"PRACTICE DOCK": this is the dock that we will be using at the practice pool. This dock is actually two in one. You will have use of the 36 foot dock which is Splash Dogs competition compliant (2 feet off the water surface), in addition you will have full use of the Super Vertical dock and extender (dock is less than 1 foot of the water surface)

I wasn't involved last year during Wags so loved hearing about private dock time auctions -- a great idea and way to really work on jumping technique! I hope we can do more auctions at other events too -- maybe a Northern California one? Perhaps would be good in conjunction with the AAARF fundraiser -- or maybe even for-profit to SplashDogs ;)

Hey Janelle,

An email is going out to you guys on the payment via ebay, but basically you can use the paypal option on ebay or pay onsite at the event the morning of your dock time.

Cyndi, we usually only do private dock raffles for Wags for Wishes but definitely a good idea for other events, I'll talk with Tony to see what we can do!
