How many waves do you have to sign up and pay for if you think your dog can win in a compitition. I really don't understand the wave system. Thanks for your help. I will be entering the Red Fish compition here in Pensacola Fl. Sea Food festival.

You can enter as many waves as you would like during an event weekend. The Waves act as qualifiers for the Finals on Sunday afternoon. The SD Registration program takes the highest score for each dog who has competed throughout the event and ranks them in highest to lowest order. Top 12 go to the Pro Finals and second 12 go to the Open Final. At some events not all teams return for the Finals and we take the next dog in the Rankings order. Some events we've had many dogs in the 30 -40 placements in the Finals because dogs ahead of them were present.

At many events we also offer a Junior Handler Final and a Lap Dog final as well. All Junior Handler and Lap dogs are welcome to participate in those. Lap Dogs have to choose between the two Divisional Finals where Junior Handlers can jump in both as the Junior Handler Final is more of a showcase.

Hope this answers your question.
