Niki finally jumped today! She jumped a whole 2 feet at the Doggone Dirty Dock Dogs pool. We couldn't be happier right now. :-) All our hard work is finally paying off. Wahooo!

not only did she jump, but she did it several times! She was having fun, and looks like she's beginning to understand what the crazy humans want her to do. She'll be the newest splash competitor at the next event in our area.

Wish I could have seen it but a huge congrats to you! I knew w/patience and time she would finally do it! Kudos to you for never ever rushing your dog and letting her get comfortable at her own pace!!!YEAH!

Congrats to Niki on her first jump from the other Nicky! That first jump is just an awesome thing, isn't it? We met at Monterey - my Nicky is the little black lab that was standing next to you in practice line. See you soon at an upcoming event.

I'm still all smiles about Niki jumping. We caught a clip of it on video and I can't stop watching it. Totally awesome! Can't wait for the next event, maybe one day my Niki will catch up to your Nicky, but for now we are thrilled! Glad to see that Niki made all her teachers proud. :-)

Oh, your Niki will definitely catch up! She's a beautiful dog. My Nicky has only been in 4 events and we haven't practiced much at all. She started out in January with competition jumps of 4 - 6 feet. Each time she's added a couple more feet. It's been a blast and they do get more confidence with every jump.

Oh boy I think you should add photos of this or there is any photos of Nikki. We would love to see her.

So what is your next planning with her.

We're thinking about going to the LA Fair for some jumps, we'll be at the "Coats for Kids" Halloween Splash in Capitola for sure.
