It's been a great weekend watching all of these amazing dogs having fun and jumping as hard as they can, but I think some special recognition should go out to Urs, Ryan, Aries and, of course Brian Sardo. Aries has just been improving at this sport as the weeks go by and is, no doubt, a result of the dedication, hard work and relentless love that Urs and Ryan have given to Aries. And today, boy did that hard work pay off. Aries was consistently jumping 26+ at this event and today, with Brian at the helm, he popped off a 27'1" jump during the finals. What a great show! Thanks for letting us come along for the ride. Great job everyone!

Vit, you could have gone to the restroom and made it back in time to see him land!

I think I did ;)
From my vantage point I really thought he was going to hit the end of the pool. I seriously caught my breath when he was in the air. Did anybody get a pic or video??

Janelle might have gotten a pic of it - we haven't had time to download and check. If we do, we will post for everyone!

Here is the video of what I believe to be the 27'01" of Aries from Sunday 9/13. I was looking at my pics of Twizzy's BDay outing yesterday and realized there were a couple of videos I hadn't even seen from Sunday....I have no idea who caught this but they got the 2nd half of the jump. Barbra - was it you? Whoever it was, THANK YOU for picking up the camera and shooting this for me...
Here's what I believe to be the 27'01"

I also have that 26'04", where he first broke the Mixed Breed Record earlier in the day. Rob Barnhill and Sisko have held that record for the past few years...

Actually, it looked like Aries slowed down (curled) at the very end, maybe he freaked himself out and was afraid he was going to land outside of the pool! Nice going Aires!!!

OMG I just watched the video of Aries (my ears are still ringing from Urs's screaming!) that was incredible! I would be scared now that he is going to jump out of the pool!

Aries can start a new sport: jumping OVER the pool! Most dogs will have to compete WIDTH wise, but Aries, Henry and Pepper can do the LENGTH!

You all should be so proud....those crazy bc and bully boys take a good long while to mature into the "game".
Here's to a long and successful career of "high flying jumps". Can you say NATIONALS!!!!!

You should put a mattress or something padded outside the end of the pool, just in case he jumps out. . . unbelieveable!!! You Go, Aries!
