Gosh Darnit Crash and Cricket have ringworm, which means I may have it, YUCK, and my house is most likely infected with it even bigger YUCK.

So I get to take them both to the vet where I get to spend money I don't have, then I get to go to the doctor and spend even more money that I don't have, and then if that wasn't fun enough I have to wash everything and disinfect everything my dogs have ever touched!!!

GGGGGGGGGGggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Any tips or suggestions? Anyone else ever dealt with this?

I feel so gross :(

It's not the end of the world, most ringworm issues I've seen have taken a over the counter creme for humans so I'm sure you can cancel that Dr. appt for you...not sure about the dogs but found the following...I'm sure again you can treat them yourself...save your money for CYNO!!!

Thanks for the info Urs,

I am starting to calm down. I just got so frazzled becuase I am at work with Crash and just noticed it.

I am going to still take them to the vet, but I found a cheaper one. Crash has a bunch of spots that I can see and who knows how many more I can't so I would rather get a pill and wipe it out.

I am not going to go to the doctor, they are just going to call in a prescription for me so it won't be too expensive. Thank God I got health insurance last month!! :)

Oh and don't worry I am going to cyno come hell or highwater! I don't care if I have to sleep in my car :)

When in doubt, visit the doctor or vet! However, when we first moved to a rural area of Northern California, we were inundated with ring worm on the cats (ferral and so much fun to catch!), dogs and us. Over the counter anti-fungal cream actually cleared it up for all parties concerned. We only had it once or twice in the next ten years after that.

Good luck!
