Club Venue Memberships......

Okay, so Dega & I are on a mission and we need your feedback. New comers & the "Seasoned" members.......please express any thoughts on the below.

If you all were offered a membership to a facitility that held dock diving events, practice and special perks to members (private parties etc) would you be willing to join?

Most would right away say....YES. However, would you still say yes if it was an hour from your home?

Would you still say yes if being a member required a certain amount of volunteer hours a month? Say, 3 hours a month?

If the facility grew and could offer more, would you stay with it's growth or get impatient as it is in the works?

Are you still interested?

It is important for me to learn what your hearts desires may be. We are designing a place around a special pot of gold. We want to share it with the ones that hold the fire in their hearts to purely have fun.

Splash Dogs rocks with their #1 Rule of HAVE FUN. DogGoneDirty Girls & BayAreaDivingDogs have a dream, it includes you based off of your responses. We wish to see Splash Dogs grow & grow with people from everywhere but that have that special passion.

I am an open book for discussion and Tony may have to cut the Italian off.......LOL but Ms. Talla Dega has a high spirit and I want to match that.

We are in the works with quite a bit of exciting stuff and want to take all of you along with us for the journey & mission.

Happy Holiday's......we've made it through 1 we will make through the next!

Now........holiday schmoliday.........WHERE ARE ALL THE BAY AREA - That'd be South Bay - North Bay - East Bay & Coastal Zone that I am referring to!

How about Los Banos, Tracy, Stockton, Sacramento.........oh where or where did all our local Splash Dog lovers go......or where or where could they be?

Must be under a x-mas tree somewhere! LOL.

Things are on the go and we are in a large massive search for reactions from all the people we met in 2009. From the ISE event in San Mateo & Sacramento this year to recent Capitola events........I should see at least 10 replies on this post by now.

Maybe we will ensure at events that people realize we make a difference right here on our message board! Not sure if they all are aware that we crazy people post these type of exciting things. Whether it be for rescues, insight tips for events, personal growth, pain, happiness & anger when it calls for it we got it....RIGHT HERE.

We have found the pot of gold, and we want to bask & share in the riches with people who are passionate about their dogs & FUN!

Many of you may not know, but a few of the godfathers and mothers of the sport live in this area. I am referring to Jim Powell, Sandra Stewart, and Rob Barnhill. Jim and Sandra are still very active, but Rob has been on hiatus for about two years now. The Auburn and Folsom area is amazing, with equally amazing history in our sport. If Rob is reading this, please reply. If not, I talk to him often, and I think he may be ready to become involved once again. Rob has had huge aspirations about building a full-time dock jumping training facility in the Sacramento area. Just thought I would call out Mr. Drool to see if he wants to play. Great work Gianna.
