Events:
We want them, but they must be worth the experience to go to them. To Each His Own in his definition of "experience" may be.
Fact #1: Dogs don't care where they go, as long as they are with their HAPPY owners.
Fact #2 Dogs understand negative and positive energy. Nothing but positive should be provided to them, or don't be a dog owner. There is nothing more innocent and loving then the unconditional loyalty they provide. We should be more like them!!!!!!!!
The BADD Team & the DDDD Team will be posting a new event coming in January, location will be in Hollister, CA.
Stay tuned but till then enjoy your Holiday Season and keep the pups off counters and ornament surfing........
Very Excited for next posting.........

Well said, there are 2 other points I've noticed also.
#1 = As a small bussiness owner myself, it pisses me off to see another company come in and step all over the " Little Guy " because they have better funding. If they want to put on events, great! but they should put in the time and leg work to do it.
#2 = Some people are more concerned on how much money they can win or how much money they have tied up in their dog. Would you say that about your son or daughter?? When Dakota got 4 or 5 personnel bests @ LA County Fair and someone caught a pic of us celebrating (it is on our Xmas card) NO amount of a winners purse would I trade for that pic. My dog is a huge part of my life and our family, he isn't my bussiness or away to make some extra cash!

Team Double D,
Thank you for adding in more truth to the reality. It is honestly sad that it is the human being that destroys a honest mans intentions.
What's that old saying........."Can't we all just get along?"
The answer is simple. No we can't. Therefore we divide. The difference in the two sides is that we have no desire to conquer. We have only the desire to provide our lives with positive time with our dogs.
Again, destroying a honest mans intentions will only bring bring more troubles to those who insist on it. That's their choice I guess.......
We (SD) stick together through good times and bad and we don't trade each other in for higher status!
The camaraderie that SD family have brought to each event is what has made the shows and will continue too every time!!!!!!!!
Some people will just never get it...........those who do, see you out there at our next SD event!
Respectfully,
Gianna

Stacie:
I have seen that video before and watched it again this morning, this time, it had a completely different meaning for me. I thought of the pain Jim and I felt when we lost Cash, and often think of how in the heck did we get such a crazy dog like MickeyD. Well as I sit here this morning with tears streaming down my cheek I know that MickeyD was brought to us to ease the pain of our loss. He kept us so busy with his antics that we hardly had time for the grief! He has brought us so many gifts especially that of friendship with the dock jumping community, along with the joys of all his comic actions. He has kept Jim young and vibrant (has to be to chase him around) He is not going to let us sit idle. He is a joy and I will give him a big hug this morning!
Thanks Stacie for reminding us what this is really about!

I wanted to say that I would hope in the New Year we can stop all of this negativity that has been recently posted.
Just love your pups and have fun with them that is what the sport is meant to do.
Wishing you all a blessed New Year!
