The DogGone Dirty Dock Diving facility - new home to Bay Area Diving Dogs will have an official competition length dock (40 feet) and an official competition length pool (40 feet).

So looking forward to the first annual New Years event on January 30 - 31, 2010! Online registration will open in the next few days!!!

Hey, all of you Doggone Dirty gals and guys,

Is there a decent dog-friendly hotel/motel in the area? I can find something in Gilroy - is that close enough? We'd love to try to make both days, but would rather stay over to do that and avoid driving in the dark and getting up at 0 dark hundred....

We're really looking forward to seeing everyone and having a great time!

I am gonna have to look into who and where is dog friendly will update casa de fruita is about 8 miles from here easy back and forth rv parking food wine tasting etc

Good one. So much on our plate, having a blast and can't wait to SEE YOU ALL!

Casa de Fruita is not far, and has been nicely renovated for easier understanding on directions and handle traffic.

Rhonna may know more, but I would say that from Hwy 101 Casa is about 25/20 minutes. 30 if there is a wreck or something.

It is also got to be dog friendly, not sure but should be.

Gilroy is not far at all. I live in San Jose and I am 1 hour away from our home base.

I clocked the mileage the other day and this is the apprx idea for mapping for everyone reading this post:

From Hwy 101 it's apprx 14 miles
From Hyw 25 it's apprx 9 miles
From Hyw 156 it's apprx 4 miles
and then when you get there SLOW DOWN. Private Road, beautiful private ranches, single lanes, 5mph, LIVESTOCK, Wild LIFE, dust control.

Easy to get to and SO WORTH THE DRIVE!

There is a Motel 6 in Gilroy off of Hwy 101, this is 20 mins from the site.

Thanks for the info on the places to stay in the Hollister area. Much appreciated. If Gilroy is only a 20 minute or so drive, then it will be a piece of cake. Really looking forward to seeing you all and your cute, wonderful, fun, adorable dock dogs! I love them all. I think we'll have a great time.

If we are already registered for the Hollister jump, will we still be entered in the same waves in Gilroy, or do we need to re-register ??

If you already registered for the Hollister Jump it will transfer over to the registration for the revised location. No need to register again.

Well, I am sure glad I logged-in tonight. If you guys sent out a notification of changing the Hollister jump to Gilroy, I sure didn't get it. Is it posted on the website and I missed it?
