Who knew Bass Pro would end up this good!! A little rocky start on Friday because of the weather, although some of the hard core people braved the rain, but we truly could not have asked for better weather on Saturday and Sunday. Friday's weather did not discourage people from coming out to play with their dogs and there was a monumental number of new people that came out to try the sport. Great job to Barbara, Vit, Chris, Cori and everyone who helped make this a HUGELY successful event!!

There are a couple of videos from the weekend posted on www.inlandsocal.com/pets website, who sponsored the event.

It was awesome as usual! We were there on Sunday, all day. We weren't allowed to leave, LOL. Bass Pro is my new $100 store, forget Costco. A big high five to all those that worked hard for this event. If you get a chance, email Bob Minor the manager at Bass Pro and butter him up. Let him know how appreciative we are for them hosting SD. I'm looking forward to more events there.

Ok you guys, you may have talked me into Bakersfield. A bit of a drive, but we may go for it. This is more addicting than cheese or chocolate! I'll be sure to bring the tamales next time. Love you guys!

Wasn't that something? I've never seen so many chocolates in one place! Hey don't forget Sunday the 14th is Valentines Day. Maybe we should all wear something red? I told Urs that we can put Kylie in a kissing booth!

Well, looks like you twisted my arm, I'll have to bring a dozen or two tamales on Sunday.

I had a great time, as usual!!

I hadn't seen my splashdog family since the LA county fair so it was a blast chatting and catching up with everyone.

I also really enjoyed being poolside for a bit, helping some beginners get there first ever dock jumps.

Oh and Ursula, Crash jumped 20 feet, can you believe it!!!

HAHAHAHA, yeah right, he hit a whopping 7 feet three times and threw in a 10 footer just to frustrate me :) Cricket unfortunately spent the whole day in a crate resting her injury. :(

Thank you again so much to Vit and the rest of the crew for putting that event together. :)

Whew! What an event! I was able to only be there on Sunday due to an illness but it was HUGE!!!!!! Marty was there both days ansd he said Saturday was crawling with people-he never saw such a huge crowd!

Everyone who helped out with putting it all on, thanks for all your efforts. I guess Bass Pro is destined to start each event with rain but by Sunday, it was gorgeous there!

I also want to thank Diane and Canidae for making it all possible and for their support for my dogs. Dunkin & Phoebe looked awesome jumping in their new vests :)

And, how many dogs did Cori jump??? She's in half the pictures with a different dog-amazing. I can barely handle my own two. And, speaking of which, thanks to Brian for jumping Phoebe all day and getting her back in shape catching the bumper and making it to the pro finals, even tho she still hates to stay and wait for the throw.
Hey, Sarah, congrats on Crash hitting 20 feet :). Yeah, right alongside Dunkin doing it, ha, ha!!!! Dunkin did manage to get third place in Open finals-yeah!

See you all in Costa Mesa!!! I hate missing Bakersfiled but we have prior commitments..
