For those of you in Nor Cal who arent' going to the Splash Dogs event on May 8 or 9 in Navada, please read on:
In my continuing quest to find challenging and fun things for our bullies to do,
and after seeing how my boys enjoyed chasing a lure, I started the All Breed
Lure Sport Asc. (with 2 other women) so that our dogs could race and EARN points towards racing titles.
Our first Race is Sunday May 9, 2010 in Livermore, CA at Robertson Park. It is a 200 yard straight race (done 3 times) with dogs grouped either by breed or according to size (and muzzled). There is also practice racing available.
Unfortunately, my boy Primo never made it to his first event. However, his name will live on with the "Primo Cup", a perpetual trophy for the high scoring
APBT/AST.
Please come out and enjoy a day of fun sprint racing for all breeds and mixed
breeds as well as a day of remembrance of Primo.
You can view and download a premium and entry form at:
