Filling the pool in Auburn Jim decided to see if MickeyD would jump through the water stream from a fire hose.....duh? Points for the catch? Where is Howie when you need him?

Another great Auburn Event hosted by Sandra and Jim. The weather couldn't have been better. The dogs were flying high. Friday night the staff's dogs had a "Dog Party" in the pool. Eight dogs in the pool at once. The dogs were jumping, swimming, and having a great time. Not one dog fight. On Sat. we had a guest appearance by Greg (The Voice) Abner. It was great too have Greg stop by and announce for a while. Sat. was quite special also with the traditional "Jump for Cash" with Jim and MickeyD. Tony and Ursula had a very tough time getting words out when talking about the loss of Sam Lebarron and all the loved dogs that were lost this last year. There weren't many dry eyes in the crowd. This is always a special event and I hope that it continues every year. It was great to see all the old friends and all the new dogs and handlers that came out. Great support for the event.

Last year was the first time that I attended the Jump in Memory of Cash. It was great then, and was wonderful this year as well. The entire weekend was like a party with friends I haven't seen for awhile. I had been looking foreward to it for some time, and was not dissapointed. The atmosphere is great, with the beautiful view, grassy areas for doggie play and the crowds coming to watch and support our dogs doing what they love. There were many spectators who were there all three days, coming back to see how their favorite dogs were doing. Many newbies there as well, getting bitten by the dock jumping bug. I remember when I was there (really not that long ago) and it makes me excited to see more people trying it out. Thank you everyone who attended this past weekend, it was GREAT!

We had a great time as well! We were thrilled that Drew took to the whole concept immediately. He saw the pool, started screaming and jumped in. He is obsessed. I'm sure his Uncle Pookie is very pleased with Drew's special technique: no somersaults but a pretty impressive belly flop.

Congratulations to everyone on a great weekend and thanks for such a fun event!

Dad, do we have to get up and jump already? We're still tired.
