He naps on the couch and sleeps in the middle of the bed and you don't even have enough room to turn over!

If you have a car just for your dogs and have to explain to your friends that while you can comfortably have 4 or more dogs ride in your car, you only have a seat for one human passenger.

You spend thousands of dollars, travel in the car for hours and hours, stay in some horrible motel room for days on end, eat fast food that is nasty, all so your dog can jump off a dock into the water and with MickeyD thats just a maybe

You worry about how many calories your dog gets per day and eat nothing but junk food for yourself.

You almost buy a house not because you like the house but because it has a pond on it!!!

when you go to the grocery store and the first thing on your mind is getting to the dog section to see if they have any new goodies for your fur babies....

You get mad at your husband because he showed the dogs what they are getting for Christmas and insist he get them something additional so they will still be surprised! Ok... not so much them being spoiled as me being crazy, but still....

Get a job doing a retaining wall and remember you used all your form plywood $68 per sheet for a dock!!
Take your kids X-mas savings and purchase more boards.(god forbid replacing the ones on the dock with cheaper plywood  ....

Friends no longer ask "how was your weekend?" they ask "how did the dogs do?"

One of your greatest desires is to win the lottery so that you can build that kennel/house that you designed two years ago. Oh yes and buy that motor home and spend the rest of your days away going to competitions!

You have pot-holders, t-shirts, key chains, checkbook covers, refrigerator magnets,
artwork, greeting cards, garden sculpture, etc. with your breed represented on it

90 percent of your Internet connection time goes to the dogs (seeing what's new
when you enter your breed into the browser, reading up on multiple lists,
checking out photos, read up on all the message boards, etc.)

You know when your dog is spoiled when:"
I think of her first.
I go with out so she can have what she wants.
I hurry home from work and can't stop anywhere because I know she is home waiting for me.
We go for walks every night no matter what the weather is.
I spend more money on her training before getting clothes for myself.
She takes up the whole bed and I wake at night when it's cold and make sure she is covered up so she doesn't get cold....
Oh course she eats better....bbqing she gets a chicken breast or turkey burger and vegies ground up and sprinkled over her food.
Goes everywhere with me, I never leave home without her. And since she is a Certified Therapy dog she can go anywhere with me.
Has a clothes basket full of toys, and everytime I come home with a bag there better be something in it for her...because she checks.
Oh boy I could go on but I'm sure you can see that Sadie is soooooo spoiled...

The dogs are spoiled when.....

They get the first and most love and hugs and hellos when you come in the door and the other humans in the house have to wait in line behind the dogs. You assume everyone knows this is polite protocol.

You think nothing about you being sick, but if your pooch throws up just once, it is off to the animal hospital just to make sure all is right with the world. And you are heart broken for them when the vet tells you they can't eat that night!

Their Christmas gift arrives on December 1st and you can't wait until the 25th and they are playing with it that afternoon. Yes, Christmas came early for Jake and he loves his new Jolly Ball!
