Great sportsmanship at Sacramento

I wanted to show my appreciation to all the other competitors we jumped with on Sunday. For those of you who weren't there Katie was acting up again in the finals and stopped at the end of the dock, although this time she couldn't stop fast enough and slid in with a 3' something. Both me and Jason were disappointed and went to grab Katie, while we were doing this the other competitors all together requested we get a re-jump. That really meant a lot to me that everyone remembered the reason we do this is to have fun with our dog and always work on improving our dogs performance not just about competing and getting a better ribbon.

I know that if that had been my pup, you would have done the same thing. Everyone deserves to compete at their best, and using up Katie's second jump on a slip just didn't seem right. It is about having fun with your friends, not hoping someone else's dog chokes for their jumps. We have a blast, even if we don't win everything.

I want to say I had the time of my life working the Dog Expo event. Even though Reeses was not there to jump I was able to share in the joy with everyone as their pups jumped their heart out. Even jumping Sierra as entertainment was a blast. I had a chance to learn so much about the sport and realize I am blessed with a puppy who loved the sport as much as I do. We learned so much together in Auburn with Urs and Jason, jumping 14s was amazing, Thank You.
