CA State fair

How is the setup this year? I have been to this event when it was at the rodeo arena but this year it's over at the racetrack I guess. I saw Tony's email about shade etc. but whats the real story on shade? Do I really need to bring a tent thing and how bad is this hill that's mentioned in the email? How big is the area? I was thinking about bringing my wife and son but if it's cramped at all that might be a bad idea.

it sure was hot. but definately worth it for me. Koda and I took first in the open division, this was our first competition. You can say we are definately hooked now. Looking forward to Santa Rosa and hopefully Reno.

Love to hear that! We love to get newbies hooked. We all remember when we were there. Most of us started out going to an event, loving it, and then draining our bank accounts, but becoming rich with friends, fun, and dogs. It's all worth the hard work, and can't wait to see you guys in Santa Rosa. Maybe you can come out to Hollister again, and possibly join the team. We need more guys (poor Donald and Mark are completely outnumbered)! Until then, congrats on your win!
