Just to let all know!!

Bill in Arizona has been in the hospital for a couple of weeks now. He appeared to have had a stroke? Please if you have anything to contribute send to Greg@splashdogs.com and I wll forward.

There is a flball tournament in Blythe California and they are doing something special..
don't forget , this weekend at our I Love Flyball tourney we will have a big "get well" book for Bill Geen. Our team has purchased a really nice memory book, and a whole lot of stickers, pretty paper, fun cut outs, colored pens, etc, so everyone can create something for Bill while he is in the hospital and rehab. If he can't come to flyball, we will bring flyball to him!!!! Please feel free to forward and cross post this, the Geens also competed in dock diving. If you have pictures, etc that would be great. Also, if you are not coming to the tournament, feel free to send anything you would like included, memories, comments, well wishes, and I will be happy to put it in the book!! He is a wonderful flyball advocate, competitor, and all round great guy, it will be great to put a big giant smile on his face!!

I am at loss for words...... I am posting a e-mail that I received last night.

Jonnie and Bill are in my thoughts and prayers

As most of you know Bill has been in St. Joseph's hospital in Phoenix since his stroke on January 12. We have done everything and more to see him through this crisis, but he hasn't been able to come back from the terrible injury sustained to his brain. I won't go into details, but suffice to say he will never have life as he would want and the time has come to honor his healthcare wishes. I have finally come to realize that the specific instructions for his health care must be my final gift to him as they are the worst and best gifts he has given to me. Someone recently alluded to the fact that I haven't allowed family and friends to pay their respects and visit at the hospital. I held you off because of his susceptibility to infections, and to preserve his pride at a time when he couldn't be the man he wanted us all to remember. Our plan is to see our way to Hospice, here in Payson. I think that when he realizes we are taking him down the path he wants, that he can become peaceful and will be able to welcome visits from all of you who have been his friends over the years. For me, I will welcome your visits. I'm not sure exactly when he will be approved and transferred to Payson, but I feel it will be very soon. A friend recently commented that Bill & Jonnie was like one word. That couldn't be more true as I look back over our 30 years, which seem like they started just yesterday. Please feel free to call me at home or on my cell (H) 928-472-6555 (C) 928-978-2622 to see when he will be coming home to Payson. I also want to thank all of you for your support, and your love over these difficult months. Love to you, Jonnie, Cody, Dash, Nitro and of course, Shooter

Melissa,

Thanks for updating us on Bill. I know everyone sends their love and prayers.

God Bless him and Jonnie for what they have endured and will continue to indure.
