Good luck to all of are friends heading to the challange. I hope everbody has a great time jumping in Arizona. The Purina people put on an awesome show. I think we should start taking bets on the first and second place Teams that will getting invited to Nationals. Gentlemans bet that is.

Most of you know that Sisko and I will not be at the show due to injury. We will be their in spirit.
I hope all of you have a safe trip. Just remember to have fun and jump BIG.

Ok....so my vote would be for Little Gunner, or maybe Nevada......Hmmm

Not sure who all is going? Where do you find out information on the jump? If I can get my pup up in the mid 20's I would llike to consider it next year!

Thanks

Little gunner and Nevada have already been invited. I will be passing my my vote for Jim & Mickey D to be invited. Ursla & Gunner will not make the event this year.
Keep practicing with that pup of yours. Any team that can prove themselves on the dock under pressure and perform at a high level will always be looked at for the Purina without preudice and bias.

Good luck to all and Big jumping to those teams.

Got the word while in Long Beach....

1. Jasper (sorry I don't know the handlers name but definately a great team to watch perform)
2. Henry - Thang
3. Salix - Dave
4. Gunner - Bart
5. ?
6. Nevada - Shari

1. Jasper/Rich - 28'-2", 26'-5", 28'-4"
2. Henry/Tang - 26'-7", 28'-3", 25'-11"
3. Salix/Dave - 27'-7", 25'-6", 28'-0"
4. Gunner/Bart - 27'-0", 24'-6", 24'-9"
5. Grizzley/Tom - 26'-9", 26'-0", 26'-0"
6. Nevada/Shari - 26'-7", 26'-3"
7. Magnum/Tony - 25'-6", 24'-10"
8. Emmy/Kim - 25'-4", 24'-5"
9. Heide/David - 25'-0", 24'-6"
10. Kona/Tracy - 23'-6", 24'-4"

Only the top 5 got a 3rd jump. Remember, they measure at the nose not the base of the tail, so jumping high and landing vertical didn't help at all. We were allowed 3 jumps on Friday (or only 2, for those wildcard folks - Grizzley, Gunner and Henry) and 2 "warm-up" jumps on Saturday morning.

FUN event! Kudo's to everyone!

Congratulations for the longest ever group of jumpers at any IDC regional in the country!

Last year, 26.6 was good enough for 3rd in the west and would have been in the top 2 at the other regionals.

It just goes to show that the west truly has the deepest pool of the biggest jumpers in the USA!
