Question with SV rules

I know that SV has used a short dock in the past. Has a rule been made regarding SV only using 20' or less of the dock??? If so is this going to be added to the written rules?

The current rules state: "The dock must be at least 20 feet long."

This gives us the option of using the shorter dock at competitions, but does not limit us.

We don't have a rule limiting how much of the dock the competitor may use if the dock is longer.
