MickeyD Has a New Handler!

Kelly Smith, Jim & Sandra's granddaughter jumped MickeyD for the very first time in Auburn. She is only 10 years old and had MickeyD on a perfect sit/stay and won 2nd place in the Junior Handlers with a jump of 19'11". I have fired Jim and Kelly and I are going on the road! Here is the picture:

That is SO cool! Not that I really want Jim to be fired, ;-) , but how neat for Kelly to handle the dog so well at the wee age of 10!!! YEA for all the Junior handlers out there!
Sarge's best jump score (eyeballed) was with Luke last summer. The jump was 24.11 (I think without checking) and Luke was 9 years old. If given the choice--I'd always hand 'Ol Sarge Pants over to Luke!

We were going to head over to the High Bridge for a jump into the American river but BOcephus said he would not let me unless I wore a helmet :}

She's a doll and that is so cool that she took 2nd in the JR Handler finals. That is awesome that the JR Handlers had such huge jumps! Very cool!

Sorry we missed Sunday, as I said we had flyball committments that could not really be broken w/out a major uphevel from my team.
