Hi Folks,
Well, my computer is finally up and running again and I'm getting the photos from Auburn posted. I'm so sorry about the delay. Last Friday night in the midst of working on the photos, my computer crashed---Hard Drive went out. NO photos were lost because I store them on an auxiliary hard drive. Anyway, I got a new hard drive but we had problems getting it to cooperate---long boring geek story. But, as of last night I was able to fully get back into processing the photos, and everything with the computer is running great!!
I'm sorry it takes me a little while to process these photos. I could just shoot and slap a bunch of jpgs up and you'd have them that evening. But I feel so strongly about our Splash Dogs group that I want to try and produce the best possible photos for you. So I shoot my photos in what is called RAW and then I have to processes individually every one that I choose to post before they are converted into the finished jpg photo.
On Saturday at Auburn, I ended up shooting over 4000 photos and another 2500+ on Sunday. Of course, I don't post them all but it's a lot of work to sort through and find the best photos. But y'all are worth it and I want you to have photos of your pets that you can be proud of and that will always bring back happy memories.
Anyway, I just wanted to update you on what was happening and as soon as I get home from work this evening, I'll be back at getting your photos processed. I'm always excited about doing Auburn's photos. For some reason they always seem to have the best lighting and environment for getting great shots.
Thanks again for your patience and understanding.
Howie
