So what is the average age of the handlers? What a cheesie way to find out how old everyone is!
Okay we will start: Jim is 66! Is he the oldest handler at Splash Dogs?
So Wendy here is another stat for you.

Well....it is a math question! You say what is the Average age of the handlers? Well......based on the two responses so far......I am the average of the three of us put together and divided by three. I am also the average age between Jim and Alisa.....How old am I???

And by the way....

It appears if the Average is 36.....that Jim and I are the only two that are above average!

It appears some of the handlers (girls????) don't want to reveal their age, however, I do believe Jim will be the oldest!! It also appears that you are second! I re-hired him he is training now!! I think we will bring Miss Kelly to the Solano Fair so it depends on how Jim does because maybe she will have to take over!

I will be the big 50 this year (and proud of it)....

The best part of that is I get to celebrate with all of you at the Lancaster jump since it is on my birthday...couldn't think of a better way to celebrate the big 50 ....and for what it matters ...... age is just a number.

I just joined this group. Sure is alot of young people here. I'm 56 and my Molly is 1 1/2 years old. She has been jumping for a few weeks now off a slippery dock and it seems to go about 5-6 feet. without much of a running start. Does this sound about right? Steve & Molly

Oh it just hurts when all someone wanted to do was join in on a post and he gets CUT OUT!!
It is things like that which turn individuals into raging lunitacs or even worse into an insecure person, one being afraid to say anything afraid of the rejection. So they wind up sitting in a room or closet so not to be confronted with any sort of rejection or sarcasm. The confinement is told to be the worst thing a rejected person could do!! Then if not treated in time could eventually SNAP!! and seek out revenge on all those that had made him feel humiliated by all of the rejections and sarcasm.
Not that I was bothered by my beautiful little niece (God Bless you Emily) being threatened by removal. I just wanted everyone aware that I have heard of this happening to some people before.
So excuse me I think I will go lay in my room or closet and be alone for awhile.

For statistical purposes, in order to determine the correct average, you take out the 'high' -- in this case would be Jim at 66, and the 'low' -- which would be your niece! That's what I meant! So, just for statistical purposes ONLY. She would NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER be excluded!!!!!

Yep..Jillie would just love to be somewhere jumpin' in the water now, but she was fixed this week so no water for 10 days..however, she got out 2 days after surgery and headed for the neighbors pool-of course they let her in to jump and swim with Mike (who looks like Prince Andy but he's 1 yr and doesn't jump)
as they did not know about her surgery !
She is fine and ol' Jack (I said ol' not OLD) is gonna' lock that gate a lot better.
At our age it is toughto remember to put the dog out AND close the gate!!
Glad to see Prince Andy is doing so well jumpin'...
