If we have enough dogs I'm sure that Tony will help us find a way to fit it in on Friday or Saturday. What days will matches be there?
Renegade will only be there Thurs/Fri, doing agility sat/sun. I don't think Gunner is coming...
Who else is coming who does super v? Or who wants to try it? Chloe? Naika?

I would love to register Hershey but we have not had a chance to get into water for quite some time. His issue seems to be with man made pools as opposed to ponds and lakes. He just won't jump into a pool no matter what I try. Being that this is Solano County it's home for us but I'm afraid he would react like he did at the Cow Palace this past spring.

Why don't you register and come out and try! You can at least do the practice session and have fun hanging out with everyone. If you pre-register we'll send you the parking pass and entrance pass. Maybe being in Vallejo will convince Hershey that the pool is not so scary!

just looking at the schedule and the only waves we could make are the 7:30 waves during the week. Having never competed before if I read this correctly it would cost me $20 per evening? My concern is paying and having a repeat of SF and Hershey not even coming close to getting into the water. I'm leaning towards putting him in for one night and just going from there.

It will be $20 per wave to compete. It's $10 per day for practice only. You could come out, pay for the practice, and if he jumps, then sign up for the wave (your $10 practice fee counts towards your wave fee, so it would be an additional $10 to upgrade to competing).
If you pre-register, you don't have to pay until you get there. I don't anticipate the waves filling up, so you can always pre-register for one wave (so you get the entrance passes), when you get there, just pay for practice at first and if he jumps then pay the additional fee and decide if you want to pay for the other days waves.
Let me know if this is not making sense.

Hershey From what I read yesterday there will be no charge for the 7:30 Waves. So there would only be a 10.00 charge if that is the only wave u are putting him in. With a little bit of patience and practice Hershey may surprise u

We are signed up for the first night. If he does well we may try another night and if he totally surprises me we may do some of the waves on Saturday.

I have a question, when will the practice sessions take place? I'm looking forward to giving this try again with the big goof.

Practice is in between each wave. So as soon as a wave ends, the dock opens up for practice until the next wave. It is also open in the morning (haven't checked the site for what time we open at solano) until the first wave.

Ok, For all of you who have pre-entered. We are going to have a list at the gate for you to get parking and entry. We are not going to be mailing the passes out. The info follows:
Solano County Fair competitors must enter through the Sage gate, off of Fairgrounds Dr. and get parking and entry credentials through the Sage gate.
