I have come up with a idea of an indoor training & rehab facility.

This will have two docks( with turf) & two pools, a full agility course with a high teck rubber floor, also used for free style fresbie, climate control building and kennels.

I want to have some outside covering for vehicle with pups in them. I might be able to a small apartment complex with 10 units.

It will be a concrete tilt up building with big glass pane windows.

I want 3 large moniters in the building for weekly competions and replay viewing.

A new stat of the art measuring system with no paralex problems.

I am looking for some feed back on this idea. I already have the commercial property. I can break ground on the project as early as the summer of 2007 and be open by spring of 2008.

That sounds like a long way away but I will putting the money up myself and will cost over a a millions bones. No treats for Sisko for a little while.

Please give an honest feed back? I will not take it personal.

Thank you Splash doggers. Go west coast.................

Great idea!!!

Do you have a location yet?

Are those apartments going to be used as sort of a hotel if you want to come up for a weekend or something?

WOW Rob!
We can send Sisko treats while you are doing this. This would be a dream come true for those of us who have dogs that don't like the heat, develop ear problems from salt water and just can't find a place to practice. Please keep us informed. Again - WOW!

Let me just add, that while this would be wonderful, I would still support Tony 100% as far as the competitions go.

Do I foresee many more Splash events to fundraise to help out Rob?

I own a 1 acre commercial property on highway 50 in Shingle Springs. It is 15 minutes east of Folsom or 25 minutes east of Sacramento.

Just for the record, I am 100% behind Splash dogs and the events Tony puts on and we will particapate in Splash dogs when my schedule allows.

I do not foresee a fund raiser to put this together. We can do that for Ashley dog park or other charities we wish to support.

The apartments I might build will be for people who can not afford to go to a hotel for there time at the facility.

Any other questions please post up.

Wow, what a great idea for the Northern Cali pooches. Somehow I just knew that it would be too far away for us Southern Cali's (I'm jealous already)

Hey Shari,
Since you might not have anything else to do you should stop by and amuse us with the flying torpedo techinique.

Have fun

Wow,
I was hoping for more input from all of the dog jumping family. My intension is to help this sport. I would like to here from everbodies ideas that I might be able to add on to the whole lay out and design of this facility.

I have also been asked the question if there were stock options. Anything is possible. Investment are always wise.

I hope to here more input.

Thank you

Ha Ha.... Hey I like that. I think I will add that to her name. "SuperGirl the flying Torpedo" That is kinda cute. Well I tell ya if you build this facility then I will be sure to figure out a way to go there. Treat it like it was a dock diving event. Leave on Friday come home on Monday and stay in one of the apartments. Sounds like a plan to me.

We will miss you at Wags even though I am sure you are having much more fun without us.
