Solano Fairgrounds 7-11-07

I did my frist Splash dog last night and my dog had a blast. We will be there tonight for the 7;30 jump. My question is did anyone take any pictures of the 7:30 jumps last night and if you did is there a way to see them? I would like to see if there are some shots of my dog on here frist jumps.

I do know we don't have an official photographer at the event yet. (Howie is supposed to come out this weekend!). The only possibility for pictures is other competitors or maybe the solano county fair photographer. He's supposed to give us a cd later this weekend with some of the pics he has taken (he stops by sporadically).

So how does the whole driving in to unload/load work? Is there specific times? My grandmother who doesn't walk to well is coming with us, so I want to be able to unload/load her as well!! =) Thanks in advance!!

Just tell the people at the gate (employee gate off of sage) that you are with Splashdogs and that you need to drive in to unload. About 3/4 of the way down the straight away after you go through the gate there is a small parking lot on the right. It's near the end of where a bunch of rvs are parked. If you look through you will see a big green and blue "mermaid" pool. We are located immediately next to the pool. Crating is in the shaded area behind the mermaid pool next to the parking lot.

Is the shaded crating area also where we can "picnic" and hang for the day? Thanks.

Yes, you can picnic and hang for the day. You'll be sharing the space with the french-canadian divers/trampoline people who are doing the high dive act that shares our space. They are enjoying loving on our dogs!
