Marty Im going down on that friday, offer a little help to Jen with setting up, Jen ya;ll need to get some more EV dawgs down there now since Hershey retiring from the high jumps. Poor guy he loves it so much too, but like Deanie said let him get the low ones. Kelsey was doing really good, Tracker would do well too. When is Alex starting EV. Nog and Dax gonna be there? I can pick up Nog if Terri needs me to! Hey what about the Cajun boys, Mike and ??? I always forget the other guys name. Jen I need to know what type of stuff you need for prizes, all of our gear says Dockdogs, but we wanna bring some stuff.

MollyBGoode

Now for some trash talking, Remember our rematch, Molly and Pepper said that the Florida dogs are in deep doo-doo come show time. Molly said Nog had better bring his A game.

Can't wait to see ya'll its gonna be a blast.

MuddyPaws
09-22-2007, 02:11 AM
Jake come down on Thursday!!!!

Alex will be more than happy to keep everyone wondering what's under the dock while they are flying over him with EV...maybe Jake can teach Alex about EV....

Terri will let you know about Nog...that'll be nice to see him again!

I'll have little Muddy Puppy then too...he gets to play Splash Dogs Mascot!

Hey Molly, we are going to be back on the black matts so don't count out the old girl Dax. She is actually more consistant on the black matts than Nog. She has a prettier face than Nog also.

Jake, I will probably have you pick up Nog for me if you don't mind. He loves jumping off the dock. Jen is getting my website updated and I loaded some cool pictures of Nog. www.docteeslabs.com

Terri

MollyBGoode
09-22-2007, 05:57 AM
We are going to pull up the carpet and coat the dock with oil so we have a surface similar to the black mats to practice on!!

Molly says pick you surface...it won't matter.

Game On !!

JAKE255
09-22-2007, 01:51 PM
Jen I may come down on thursday, we just got the word our detail is ending nov 15th, We can get Alex going on EV. deanie told me she is going to retire Hershey from the High EV jumps, but jump him at the lower ones, I was bummed but at the same time its the right decision. Terri no problem on picking up Nog. Where did you guys get that black mat at, Looking to get
Pepper ready for EV. I think the record for splash dogs is 7'06" We wanna try and break it in Florida. I would like to get a black mat just to keep the water off of the wood.

Molly gonna take care of the Big Air with the Florida crew, followed by Sally Sue(ten month old chocolate that is jumping huge.)

Now Since Hershey is just doing EV for fun times, who all will be doing EV, Kelsey was doing well, Dax, Nog??? Are the Cajun folk coming? Pepper wants everyone to do EV.

We have a new event for the Dog Olympics - how many dogs can you handle on the dock at once???

date and time to be announced....

MollyBGoode
09-25-2007, 07:12 AM
Hey Florida Crew,

Maybe someone can post a little bit more about the "Dog Olympic" events that are going on also. Maybe this is something other people would like to add into thier events.

doctee
09-25-2007, 11:40 AM
Dog olympics include a speed retrieve, a speed swim, fastest dog on the dock, jump with catch. Kind of like what we did at the Hurricane bowl. We made a couple changes and humans can still get in on the speed swim so Jake you better start swimming laps.

Jake how are you going to count Dax's barks when it changes to her bitching bark?

JAKE255
09-25-2007, 06:43 PM
Handler has to count their dawgs barks while the rest of us hold our ears, Jen I may try to make this event I wanna be able to say ive tried the main organizations. I may even do some big air, with the big fella. Hey he went 3 days without wetting the bed woohoo, medicine finally working I think(knock on wood) Ellie is ready for the speed swim this year. poor girl went 4 times in a row last year and lost by inchs. As for my butt swimming, I think ill guard the beer.(tough job but somebody has to do it)

JAKE255
09-25-2007, 06:45 PM
What about Alabama, is anybody interested, I know Team Casco mentioned it.

MollyBGoode
09-27-2007, 07:16 AM
Alabama might work...It's pretty close for us.

Will Al and Hannah be running at the Dog Olympics??

That one FAST pup!! I don't know if Molly can keep in close in a race with her or not. We might have to bring a whippet...

doctee
09-27-2007, 11:29 AM
Molly is going to have to watch out for Hannah's half sister. Tribble is getting a break from training and will be home for the Turkey Splash. Maybe I can teach her to chase it off the dock before Nov.

Guess what Jake, the dock is under water half way and we have raised it twice already. All the rain the last 2 weeks has filled my pond to capacity. Wait until you see how big the pond is now. I won't have to have water trucked in this time. That swim across the pond will be long. We may have to switch the direction and swim the short distance across.

I would love to go to Alabama and I could pick up Nog on the way but money is keeping me from doing a whole lot right now.

MollyBGoode
09-27-2007, 02:03 PM
Watch out for Hannah's half sister?? Why...does she bite??

It should be interesting to see Tribble...it's been a while.

Do I dare ask how many dogs you have there days??

doctee
09-28-2007, 09:23 AM
She might be as fast as Hannah. She would rather snuggle or manipulate than bite. I haven't gotten a new dog in a year and a half. As soon as Trek and Kela come into heat I am breeding both of them. I would love to keep one out of Trek and Nog but I need to depopulate before I can keep another. We'll see.

JAKE255
09-29-2007, 02:28 PM
Molly 33mph today on dock, rocky was to sllow to register, Pepper 3 jumps over 7ft, Ya'll in the south better get ready, lets hear some results on your dawgs, gotta know who to start talking smack too. Deanie said there is a big EV dawg, Do tell???

MuddyPaws
09-30-2007, 11:50 AM

MollyBGoode
09-30-2007, 05:21 PM
Jake,

Maybe them dawgs down threre have cleats so they don'y slip on that old rubber mat?? I think that's their only hope....Sally is ready to roll too.

EV/UV/AV wahtever they call it....Pepper's the top Dawg!!

JAKE255
10-01-2007, 05:24 PM
I like the cleats comment, Marty. Sally keeps going the way she is going,Pepper gonna have a hard time. Kelsey is probably their EV dawg, he did very well for first time in Roanoak. Browning gonna be there too, he is good for 7 ft. I hope alot of dogs do it. Hey Jen/Terrie/Deanie I saw on the schedule the swap handler thing, not sure if everyone would play that for big air. Probably better for the EV dawgs. Here is something for ya if Pepper hits 7'06 I will donate $100 smackers to the chase(you should also send an invite to Dave Clausen In Cali, he is the chase guru) Here is something else we can do if ya want, sell jumps with the EV dawgs donations to the chase $5 bucks a jump. incentive would be a free Atlanta shirt for Pepper if they can get him over 7 ft.

JAKE255
10-01-2007, 06:12 PM
Are ya'll cooking a hog, Turkey. If not we gonna do a pot luck sorta thing, If someone got a barrel for ice I can bring my co2 tap for a keg, and we will pick up a keg. There will no Jack Daniels drinking, I repeat No Jack Daniels drinking. Let us know whatcha ya'll need, we sending Deanie prize goodies in next couple of weeks

MuddyPaws
10-01-2007, 09:19 PM
I'm paying people to handle Alex! (just kidding maybe...) I'll donate to Chase Away Cancer for those who can handle Alex to jump over 18 feet...he can do it!!! Changing handlers is totally for fun...of course best jump wins the cash.

We are having a cookout on Saturday evening - we will have the meat - side dishes/desserts will be pot luck - I have no control over beverages - if you would like to bring the keg we will have/make room.

No Freida to hide from Deanie and JT!

Please invite EVERYBODY! Especially those I haven't met!!!

The mascot will be determined on Wednesday!! I can't wait! He will be in Sarasota as well! That will be nice to see you there too - will you be adding your tent to ours??

Well we are back, What a great event, we tied Reggie at 7'02". I cannot wait for this event, Nancy I will be bringing information on Sunday about the Florida event. Jen we have a secret weapon called "BEAR" he won the outdoor channel big air with a 25'09", Also Tiffany is gonna try to come from SC with Angus and Chaos.

JAKE255
10-09-2007, 07:09 PM
Dave Clausen gave me a Donation vest for the chase, I'm gonna have Rocky Wear it and we can rotate it around, our best bet would be Jens new pup wearing it.

doctee
10-10-2007, 07:57 AM
It looks like we are going to have more competitors for this event than the Hurricane bowl. Just get ready for bragging rights for fastest dog on the dock and this time the jump distance will count, a speed swim(Tribble is home and she is a fast little swimmer), and the land speed retrieve. There will be a $5 entry fee for all the dog olympic events, winner take all. It was a blast at the Hurricane Bowl and this one will be better.

I'm sure Nog will be jumping well as long as Jake doesn't forget to stop and pick him up.

ChocolateDawg

Ellie says bring on trouble, oops she means tribble. it will be up to Sally and Molly for the speed retreive and dock speed.Nog Who???? So whats the bet here, lets say top dawg in big air and vertical, there will be no tie this time, if their is a tie the handlers are jumping. I can't wait were gonna have a blast. Terri I haven't heard from the girls up north if they are gonna be able to make it so we may have more. I think Tiffany and Chris are coming, If Chris comes he is with our club (hee hee) We get Tiffany with Angus and Chaos too.

How many dawgs are registered, Hey can someone see if Mike an dBrowning are going to SRS.

Tribble is the Trouble with lil' Tribbles and she has been nothing but trouble since she got home.

I think we should add the vertical results with the big air result to get the top dog so we won't have push you in the pond because I know you won't jump on your own.

So you forgot who Nog is already. He will be devastated and won't leave you alone until you won't forget him and that will be his torture to you. Believe me he can a pain in the you know what when he wants attention.

Since I don't know how to post pictures here, Sally needs to go see her competition at www.docteeslabs.com/nog.htm to see Nog and www.santabarbaraanimalhospital.com/doctor.htm to see Dax and Trek

ChocolateDawg
10-11-2007, 03:38 PM

Seriously, those are some good looking dogs!

The Alabama event is a super retreiver series, it is in Huntsville Alabama , on the 2nd and 3rd of Nov. This will be a good event but the Florida event will be alot more fun. There are a couple of junior handlers(daniel) down there so your son could kinda hang with them during off time. Lots of extra events in the dawg olympics too. Plus it will get ya in some warmer weather. There is a club event coming up in Nov in Deleware with the Delmar Dockdog club.

It's Dax that Molly has the barking match with. Trek is an angel when it comes to waiting her turn. It is always hard to send your dogs off to boot camp as my staff calls it. But it so nice when they come back angels. Dax never went to boot camp and you can tell.

Jake, I let Kristie know about you picking Nog up for Huntsville. I haven't heard back from her yet but let me know when you will be heading that way so I can let her know. Pepper,Browning, and Brents dawg. lots of possibles though, I know little Kita(shes big now, why do i say that) is close and may come. Anybody have Blains phone number? He sent me an email about 2 months ago but it was blank.

I know how ya feel Nancy, I left Ellie for 14 months, but it well worth it she came back and earned her junior hunt title and was a bumper nut. 2 weeks won't be bad, make sure when you go to pick her up that the trainers show you all of the details, she is smart so she will do just fine.

Congrats to all of our Florida Dawgeez, Congrats to Mr. lightning heard you won Big air or Ultimate air. Molly gonna bring her A game to ya in November. I am totally bummed that the EV pole broke(whats up with that) Pepper needed that scouting report, he heard a rumor that Tracker and Kelsey are some high flyers. Special Congradulations go out to my favorite lab Jackie who won the catching contest.

Wish we could of made it,but we got Srs to prepare for and have had no training time due to stitches. I'm still not too sure about Ultimate air, but now I have talked to 2 seperate people who said it was a blast at 2 seperate e vents. Maybe one day.

Anna, neither Trek or Kela are in heat yet. They are driving me nuts. Kern is in training in North Carolina and will not be making the trip to Huntsville. Nog is in Georgia 24 miles from the Alabama border so he is on the way for Jake to pick up. I just got back from NC to pick up Mudd and see Kern so I had a lot of driving time to try and decide what to do with Nog. He will miss some training with the retriever trainer by going to Huntsville and I was about ready to let him go with her but I talked to Brent in the last 100 miles of the trip and now I'm not sure again. Jake is to 100% take care of Nog and he will be doing the vertical with him but Brent is going to handle him in super air. Brent is not to be left alone with my dog. Does everyone understand this?

Jake you better call me on my cell tomorrow. I would rather you pick Nog up on Wed. night at the earliest. He needs the retriever training most. I guess his son hit 6'2" today on my dock while I was away. I think this has become a community house.

Astrotuf is up and Dax is chomping to get a grip on the dock again. The old girl just might put up some good numbers for the Turkey Splash. Mudd will get to take a stab at it. Maybe I can teach her to chase it before then. She is almost as little as Tribble and a very cute chocolate puddle of mudd. She is a senior hunter at 18 months of age. I'm very proud of her. I am going to work on the master level here at home with her.

NEWS FLASH - Trek is in heat. Nog has to find his way back to Florida in the next 10 days. I doubt Kela is far behind. I'm sure she will come into heat on my way to the hunt test this weekend or wait until the last series and have to scratch her then.

My biggest concern is that Blind Cajun Boy mixing up Nog and Browning again. Between Brent and Mike, I am very concerned about Nog. Brent will probably lose him and Mike will send me Browning home instead of Nog. Jake is going to have to keep an eye on things. I told him it was OK to put an N on Nog again if he wants to keep them straight. Now, I just have to figure out how to get him home since I will be at a hunt test this weekend.

Jake, sorry about the turf for the turkey splash but the club voted to take it up and use the matts. You might be surprised and Pepper might like it better since he can get a better grip on it.

Terri,

How did you mark Nog before...didn't you shave him or something??

I remeber the first time we met you in Cape Coral one of your dogs had his name marked on him and you told us the blind cajun boy story.

Jake and I are hoping for a re-count on the turf vote. What kind of bribes are acceptable for the club down there??

JAKE255
11-01-2007, 12:34 PM
I have strict orders from terri if I want to jump Nog , I have to shave an "N" on him. I am not allowed to jump him unless I do. Sooooooo.... Nog now has a small "N" on his rump. He is not happy about it. Marty Nog was flying pretty far at the house, Molly gonna have her work cut out for her, should be a good match up. Im guessing he was almost 24ft,using Marty's Mechanics. Ohhhh wait a minute or was that Pepper. Hmmmmm I forgot one of those 2 was hitting 23s quite easily. Terri I got him to 6four at the house, but he keeps stepping off differently so I cant find a good starting point. Today he only hit 6even. His start point is somewhere between 14ft and 16ft. He had some good Big air jumps enough to make him a contender.

Anyway I'll be leaving Atl tonight at O'dark30, should be there by 8 or so.there letting some dawgs jump for free due to a bunch of kids being there(gawd I hate kids). I'll holler at ya'll tonight.

Bear gonna be the Dawg to beat(nothing new) Depending on who shows up for Distance jumping I may enter Pepper in the pros. Wish Moly could make it, ya know ya could have Mom and Dad come over Saturday, only a three hour drive.

I shaved "N"s on both sides of his hips and I found a picture with it still shaved and I am going to try and post it here. I will have to get help with this because I can't get this right so you can see the "N".

Mike can't tell the difference between Nog and Browning unless Nog is marked.

After Nog's injury in huntsville are you sure you really want us to put down the astroturf. Mike is trying to get video of his jump, but I have a feeling his foot slipped and twisted his leg. I was hoping he would be able to jump in the Turkey Splash and now I don't know. I'm not sure how much of a repair I am going to have to do on his knee. I need to x-ray it but I think it just tore his joint capsule and I may just have to suture that back together. I hope it doesn't end his career on the dock. I wanted him for the SRS to run all of it but now I don't know if I want him running on the astroturf or not.

JAKE255
11-05-2007, 04:27 PM
Marty we are the Guest we should get the choice huh. Terry my damn cell phone died while i was talking at ya. I'm glad it is not a Heriditary issue. Atheletes get hurt once in a while he will bounce right back. I didn't see the jump so i dont know if he slipped or not. We were talking about all of the injuries to human atheletes on astroturf, most all of the injuries are from too much traction and the knee turning to much due to cleats digging in getting traction. Those are not caused from running straight but the quick cuts where a cleat really digs in. I'm glad he is okay hope he can jump in 2 weeks.

doctee
11-06-2007, 12:46 PM
Yea but the dogs don't have spikes on the pads of their feet to get a grip in the astroturf.
I radiographed Nog's knee today and fortunately it is only his patella and not his cruciate also. There is a chance that it might heal on its own but if it doesn't I risk the possibility of the mechanics of his leg getting screwed up. I am probably going to fix it tomorrow and hopefully he will be ready to breed with Trek by Friday or Sat. This wouldn't kill me so much if he would have picked a different time to to go and do something like this. I don't know if he will be able to jump in the Turkey Splash but if I get it done tomorrow he might be ready.

I repaired Nog's leg yesterday. He tore the lateral retinaculum which is a connective tissue that prevents lateral movement of the joint. He had to have twisted his leg on take off and then his patella popped off shortly afterward. The retinaculum is a very tough connective tissue and it takes a lot of force to tear it. I stewed about waiting and seeing if it would heal on its own but I don't think it would of after seeing the tear.

I was so concerned that Brent would lose him or Mike would send me the wrong dog, I didn't think they were going to break him. And then Jake was supposed to keep an eye on everything.

doctee
11-08-2007, 02:10 PM
He's weight bearing on it today. Usually I don't let dogs use a leg much after having a joint open but usually those dogs have abnormal joints. Nog's leg confirmation is good and I didn't have to open his whole joint so should heal pretty fast. I don't know that he will be able to jump in the Turkey splash.

How many SV Dawgs are jumping? im gonna jump Ellie and I may enter Rocky(he wont jump) just to bring the height up in Normal 2 inch increments.Last 2 events we have had to start at 6ft instead of 6ten, he has been running up and not jumping, I got some ideas to fix that though. I am having this event on my own property and I think I have the lowest number of dogs here to compete. I don't really think that Nog will be ready to jump. He is making his leg sore following Trek all over the place. (By the way he did figure it out again. Trek didn't have to get on top.) Kela and Trek are going to spend the weekend at the clinic. I need Mogh there to breed with Kela, Martok and Vash are pretty much done with jumping with cruciate ruptures and toe dislocations. Kern is up at training and Tribble and Mudd just came home from training and I have never taught either one to chase it. So, that leaves poor old Dax to represent the Alexander team. Mudd and Tribble will get to jump for fun.

Okay so here I go, Brace yourself all.

First and foremost I really want to thank everybody for their thoughts, prayers, concerns fro Rocky during his little adventure, He still has not given me all the details and until he does he is grounded. I am just so glad to have him back, if I had lost him.... well I think everyone knows how I feel about him. For those of you who may not know my 78 year old mother asked if she could watch him, I agreed. She took him out to do his buisness she ha dhim on a retractable lead(mistake #1) and when she went to pick up his present he bolted and got lost on friday night. My family put out 400 flyers the next morning as I drove up to Orlando to check the trees and water ways. My search came back negative. We came to the conclusion someone had picked him up, so I headed back south. My family on their own handed out 600 more flyers. Well 5 minutes before SV They called and had my little boy. At this time SV didnt really matter to me. I cant thank everybody enough for their thoughts and special thanks to my family and my poor mom who was crying all weekend.

Now what a great event, fantatstic fun times, Ellie did not get to avenge her swim loss last year because the silly girl kept cheating, payback next year she says. Lots and lots of dawgs my favorite as always is Jackie with her acrobatic jumps and grace in the air. Casco is looking thinner and just as sexy always according to Pepper. Pepper did think Thunder was hot too though. Team Lightning looking good, I still say Tracker and Kelsee have super SV potential( find that starting point and stick to it that will build confidence) Anna pleasure to finally meet you and that World record holder Colby.Barb and Rock nice seeing you two I love the Rock.WOOOO WOOOOO I wish Pepper would bark like that. Richard and Ursala always a pleasure seeing you. Deanie and Pat fantastic work on the event and prizes. What a great meal we had thanks to all the cooks. Jen great seeing you an dyour brothers in blue put on a great show. JT you the man thanks for not breaking out any Jack. Lori from our club made it down and congrats to Dexi on her first ever event she improved every single jump. Terry your place rocks thank you for your hospitality. Congrats to all the competitors, I know I have probably missed a few people, so I apologize (im getting old)

You all down south should be very proud you put on a great show.

What a great event! Jake thanks for coming down, we are all so glad that Rocky is safe and sound. What a great turnout of folks from the North. All those extras that made it special (the cooks! 3 Turkeys!!, Pot Roast!, Beef Stew!!! appetizers, desserts, need I say more!) not to mention everyone that pitched in to clean up the messes we all made!!! A great club effort and team work. And of course none of it would have been possible without Terri's incredible donation of her property, home, time, and committment to this sport.

One last thing, I am exteremly impressed that Splash Dogs has the results up, the new titles, and the 2008 rankings 2 days after the event!! That is just great. Thanks Tony for coming down to FL!

Can't wait for the next one.

Nog is in jail for the next 3-4 weeks. He tore the original repair I did on his knee. I used heavier suture this time and non-absorbable(not that the others had degenerated yet) this time. Of course the cage rest will help. This was a rare injury so I didn't really know if he needed the same cage rest as typical knee surgeries but this time I am treating it that way. Hopefully he will come back but I don't know if he will be competitive. It shouldn't stop him from getting his MH though, just delay it.

Hanna won the speed retrieve just over 14 seconds on a 65 yard retrieve. Tracker won the speed swim accross the pond. I don't remember who won the switch handler. Indigo won fastest dog on the dock(jump distance was added in this time). I want to thank everyone who let me borrow dogs since I was so dog poor this weekend. I'm proud of Indigo for being so fired up she was beside herself and Hanna for concentrating on the dock and not her daddy. My proudest moment was Duncan's slow and methodical swim across the pond twice in front of a whole bunch of people. At 12 years of age and 3 leg surgeries throughout his life to help him with his elbow and hip displasia, he was awesome. I love seeing him that happy.

I'm glad everyone had fun with the dog olympics. I wanted some competition but also some fun and I think that is what we got.

And most of all, I'm glad Rocky found his way back to his dad.

Susan won this event with Alex "Muddy Paws" with his best jump of the weekend of 18.07 - which is of course par for the course for Alex to always jump really good for others! I love that pup!

AND Don't forget

Fastest dog off the dock(not down the dock)/fastest puppy on the dock - Dustin Chasin' my muddy paws! Never on the dock longer than ohhhhhh 30 seconds and never jumped off yet!

But a brief TV star.... :)

Okay sorry I love my pups!!! ;)

Hope all of you have a great Turkey Day! :)

Be safe

And you forgot one ..............

Ok, so no one will toot my horn but I will. I won "how many dogs can you handle" with 4. Hershey, Alex, Casco, and Rock. But the best one was the three, (by myself, my competition needed like 3 handlers on the dock to achieve the same), Hershey, Alex, and Casco. They all stayed so well (except for creepy crawly miss Casco!) and when they blasted down the dock to chase, it was cool to say the least. Great fun. Next time I'll try 5, just have not decided who that 5th dog will be.

Cristen,

Toot Toot Away!! You did an Awesome job handling all those dogs. Boy was I impressed. But, I have to say that I think Rock might have been the lead creeper, inch by inch, foot by foot and then the others followed. Very cute. Handling Rock alone is a huge task, nevermind adding 3 more dogs into the mix. Did anyone get that on video?? That was some real fun stuff. Ask Terri, I said to her how impressed I was with your handling.

Now me on the other hand, boy did those dogs take advantage of my good nature!! What a disaster. My good buddy, Hershey who I thought would be the easiest, gave me the hardest time! He was attacking that LOOPIE.

--------------
Switching up handlers and dogs was a lot of fun. Cristen, thank you so much for allowing me to handle CASCO!! I really enjoyed her. It was so nice to have a dog actually sit and stay on the dock. We did pretty good too, 18 feet something for 2nd or 3rd. Casco is a great dog and she sure loves her Mommy!

Thank you to all the Club members working the registration... Ursula, Sean, Jen, Deanie, Pat, Terri, sorry if I misssed anyone.

Mom, Jen and I thank everyone involved with the Turkey Dinner. It was delicious!! I know Sean worked all day in the kitchen. Thank you Sean, Ursula, Ken, Pat and everyone else who contributed dishes.

We had such a wonderful time with our Florida friends. It was great seeing everyone again... Bummer Anna, Rock and Colby didn't make the cut in SV. They both looked sooo sharp in their K9 Top Coat Vests... Rock/Canidae.. Colby/Rogz. I emailed them to see if they could send any additional coverage, doubt it, but ya never know.

Waiting to hear back from Wink News/CBS.

Oh Jen, you didn't know that Rock and Dustin were playing and Woo, Wooing together??? It is contagious ya know, be careful.

You had Crystal holding Dustin. Well, Rock and him were talking up a storm. Rock was passing his D U C K (remember, a four letter word) to Dustin. Then I had Rock fetch it up. FEARLESS little Dustin was barking back and then snatched it back from Rock. Very cute, ask Crystal when you see her.

Just found this message board. Dexie and I are still in FL and will be back in Ga on Saturday (Think we will miss Sun practice) I also want to thank everyone for making us feel so welcome in our first event. We had a blast and are now hooked. Was really great to meet JT and his houla girl Maggie Roo as well as the rest of you. Thanks for great event and all the work everyone did to make it enjoyable. Finding Rocky, of course, was the highlight of the weekend.

Cristen,

You can add Molly to the group next time!!

I'm suprised you didn't use Pepper "The Satue"...Ellie drive's me nuts when I get her and Molly together. They are like two little kids seeing who can sneak the furthest.

Hope to see all you FL people next year!!

11-22-2007, 08:38 PM
Yes, I wasn't planning to have to go more than 3, Pepper would be an excellent choice, maybe the other dogs would make him just go! Molly I am sure would be great too. It is fun to see them creep, Casco usually is not so competitive when around other dogs but on the dock for that event she wanted ME to throw that ball for HER to get it.
Anyway, I'll have to work up to a world record maybe. I think all of Alex's bro's and sisters would listen well too.
So much fun! Thanks for posting the video links Jen and Barb. Loved sharing it with my family up here on good ole Cape Cod today. Also, all those pic's Jen, and the poker one's are so funny. You should share those with all so they understand why we all had trouble getting up Sunday! Only the professional get uppers (aka, Jen, Jake and Terri!) were able to function so well with little sleep.
Well it will drop here tonight and feel like 20's tomorrow. Yikes, our Florida blood is way to thin to stay here for long. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Great to see you all this past weekend (and of course meet the Bard and the Rock!)
Adios!

The SC event is the same weekend as the event in Jacksonville. I doubt the FL crew is going to drive past that event to support the SC event.

FL in FEB will be nicer weather anyhow....that's where we will be headed.

Holiday party plans are started...I'll send an e-mail to eveyone and get the details ironed out.
