I'm glad to see so many people are planning on coming to pittsburg! We'll be posting details in the next few days on event entry information (you will need this info due to the fact that we're at the Seafood Festival).
Also, due to the limited time we have at the event due to the restriction of needing to finish by 2:30pm for the air show we are going to limit wave entry. There are a few spots left in all the waves. If the waves do fill, I will post this info on the messageboard and remove the ability to register for the waves online. At this point we would then take a waiting list at the event and fill spots as people scratch from waves. If you have pre-registered, then you're all set with your spot in the wave!

Are there any open slots for any of the waves...

Yes, there are 2 spots left in wave 1, 1 spot in wave 2 and 3 spots left in wave 3. Online registration is closed, we will be taking registration on site. If you would like to "reserve" one of the spots, give me a call at 510-299-1665 and let me know which waves. If the waves fill, we will take a waiting list and fill any empty slots from the waiting list at the event.

Well, day one is done and it was a great day!
I'd like to thank all our competitors for being so patient with us and the event logistics. We really appreciate your cooperation and understanding!
We had 36 different dogs jump today! Lots of newcomers joining the splash dogs family- in fact our leader so far is a newcomer.
Here's the bubble as of the end of Saturday. One more wave tomorrow morning and then the finals at 12:30pm. Please check in by 11:30am for the finals. Top 24 go to the finals (however if people don't show up, then the next dog is taken so you might be in the finals even if you're several dogs out of the top 24 right now).

Congrats to all the jumpers today. It was a lot of fun starting off the bat with Vandal enjoying a leisurely swim. Thanks to all for your help wrangling the little tird up. Also thanks to all who helped me out today.
Anyway, I have to say a special congrats to several newcomers to the sport Katya & Sheba (pit bull), Will & Gaea (lab) and Stacie & Makena. You guys all did awesome today. I was so proud seeing them all come out with a bang! Stacie - I told you Makena would come out big, I didn't quite expect that big though, holy cow girl 21.02!!!!
WENDY - I just looked at the records by breed and Stacie & Makena smashed that today!!!
STACIE - Congratulations! Flying Flat Coats Rock!!!

Just wanted to say thanks to the BADD members and Splashdogs for putting on this event. I know that there were several challenges with the festival going on but it was great. I want to say a special thanks to Keith for my car to gate deliver for me and my 5 dogs. I couldn't of done it without you so thanks. It was great seeing Makena break out those big jumps and at his first competition. Also, it was great to have so many of my H3D club members make the trip. I also want to thank everyone for supporting my old man Spud. Truthfully, I'm just so happy that he continues to have fun and enjoy himself at the young age of 12 but winning the Open finals was a special moment for us, so thanks to all who competed and all those who worked hard to put on the event, it is one for the memory book.

JJ - Congratulations on the Open Finals Win - that is truly awesome!!! Spud is an incredible dog to still be enjoying flyball and dock jumping at his age. Bravo!
