Andy was flying on Saturday. He is getting better and better at every event he attends. He is still so young and I can't wait to see his first 20' jump. Lancaster was alot of fun and looking forward to seeing you guys at Cyno.

Thanks for posting the picture of Crash, he totally looks like he is shocked there is water at the end of that dock :)! We are definetly gonna work on that hesitation for cyno!!!

Keep running Crash off the dock and pretty soon Crash will be launching like a rocket. Sometimes it takes baby steps but eventually the hesitation will stop. Recently I worked with 2 dogs, one hesitated and one flew. We solved the problem with the monkey see monkey do technique. By running both dogs off the dock together the hesitant dog eventually followed the flying dog. Now both dogs race down the dock and fly together competing for the toy.

Oh Wow that is a great shot. So here's where I think you should move to. Auburn. We put on 2 events a year, close to Reno, Sacramento, San Mateo, etc. We have a pond that Jim jumps MickeyD at the park. It's becoming affordable (yeah like all of California) We are putting in a one of a kind dog park with a pond and dock. It will be dedicated to our dog Cash that died almost 3 years ago. Check it out!

Thanks Sandra. How far from Auburn is Sacramento???? Working in tv we need a news market, but are willing to commute up to an hour'ish.

Andy can't wait for next Sunday!!!! He is so ready.... We can't wait either. Very excited. We will be there on Saturday though for the dinner.

Probably 30 minutes depending where you have to go. There are other areas like Roseville (I think they already have 3 dog parks) and that would put you about 15 minutes away. Lots of opportunites here. Auburn tends to be a bit more pricey as we are in the foothills and above the fog. Sac does get alot of fog in the winter. Melanie & Joe (dog Penny & Abbey) will be moving to Auburn also! Howie and Val live in Lincoln and they have some great prices there, but for me, I love Auburn!

Hi guys, some of you have met my grandparents. They travel to a lot of events to watch Andy soar. Well my grandpa loved it so much he got himself a lab puppy!!!!

We just wanted to say congratulations to Andy who hit his new personal best of 20'05" this weekend on his 1st birthday!!! He also made his first Pro Final!!! We are very proud of him. Can't wait to see what he does this coming weekend!!
Also, we will post pics of Andy in his birthday hat that his Aunt Sandra got him later tonight!!!

A small update: Andy is going in on Thursday for his 3mo./2mo. xrays. We are hoping that they are going to release him to start playing and walking and having some fun. We will let you know what they say... Keep your fingers and paws crossed!!!

We sure hope he can get back to normal soon. It must be torture for him (and you, too!) to have to stay cooped up all the time. Poor Andy!

Sally and Spud are doing great. Spud is actually doing real dock diving now....hitting 12 feet consistently. He's going to his first event in just a few weeks.

Hopefully we will have news to post on Thursday night.... Xrays are Thursday morning... We are hoping for the best.
Andy wants to be able to jump for his local fans at the KC Fair....... 5 months.... I think he should be ready.... Not to mention he doesn't want to miss the Splash Dog Worlds!!! He says he has already missed enough.. Poor guy... He is 15 months old and 3 of those months have been in a kennel. That's 1/5 of his life.... Ughhhh....

Yea!!!!! The visit to the surgeons went awesome!!! Andy only needs to be kenneled when we are gone!!! He gets to sleep with us again!!! That was one of the hardest things. I was so used to having Andy squeezing in between me and Octavio, rolling on his back with head on pillow throwing his legs up into the air not caring which one of us he pushed to the edge!!! He will start 2-20 minute walks a day, and in 2 weeks that goes to 2-40 minute walks. Anytime outside for the next month he will be leashed. Then if all goes as it should, he should have a full release for full activity on June 19th!!! Hooray!!! We are almost there!!! Andy is so much happier today just getting to chill outside of the kennel. We are so excited!!! We will keep all updated! Thanks for the care and support!!!!

We take Andy in tomorrow for what should be his final check-up. He should get a full releasement tomorrow!! Keep him in your thoughts as he really wants his releasement. (Mommy may have promised him a trip to the dog beach after the doctor visit...) I can't wait to see him play, play, play!!!! So excited!!!
