I just posted a thread about Austin without realizing this was already on here. Sorry!
So, do either of you know a good place to train officially in Austin. We live down by the lake so she jumps off the dock there all the time, but I'd like to go somewhere that has measuring capabilities and carpet on the launch pad--simulating more of an event feel.
Any ideas?

GRobb:
There have been a few answers to your post in the Austin Area thread, I also hit you there. I hope the info helps!
KayRand05:
Met you in Garland this weekend. Ricochet is an awesome dog and y'all had some awesome scores! I love to see herding dogs in this sport, I just wish my heeler liked water. Hopefully we will see y'all again.
GRobb and KayRand05 you both are more than welcome to come to any of our Fun Jumps or practices in Royse City. I post them all in the main forum (general discussion area)

I'm located in Texarkana as well! I'm just now trying to get into the sport. I have a pit bull that I think is really going to enjoy it. (I also have a male pit bull who is totally uninterested). She's done well with the introduction work we've done. Is there a club near us? I think it would be really great to have some people to work with.

There is not an official club in Texas but I have a dock and pond in Rockwall County that we open up when its warm for everyone to come practice. I usually post the info on this site when we do open up. We would love to have you and your pup out if you want to make the trip.

Does anyone know of a practice dock located in the greater Houston area? I live in Pearland, and will be bringing Storm to the event in a few weeks, but I'd like to work with her some before we get there...

I would like to practice too before the weekend. I have Foxy going into ponds but she is not jumping into pools or anything. I doubt just the one practice afternoon will get her jumping off of the dock. I really would like to try to compete with her at the pearland event since i dont see any other events that are in the area this year. (I am close to Pearland in Alvin)

I am looking for place to practice. I have one that I am working on now but any extra ideas would be great. I am also looking to see about getting a portable pool...
