I just got word that it took a 24' 8" jump to break the final four. Bart & Gunner take a first place with a a big huge west coast dumpster diving jump of 26 foot.

That is just awesome. That is the way you finish in a final four.
Congates to all the competitiors that showed up to have a Splash dog weekend.

I wish Sisko & I could have been their to see it. We miss all the west coast Splash doggers We will see you soon.

Bart & LG,

Congrates on your BIG WIN and thanks for the phone call telling me where Chase spent her weekend :) I new she was with us camping but it was nice to hear that she snuck away to help her teammate out and she helped to lift him to new heights. Wow 26 ft & 25.10 I can't wait to see video of those two jumps :D

Thanks again for jumping in Chase's honor Bart, you have made me proud to know you from the moment we first met last year and it's very special to hear your love for my girl when you called me yesterday with the great news. Dang it if you didn't make me cry yet again  those tears were tears of Joy and sorrow but mostly Joy for you and LG give him a big hug from me and we'll see you guys at the end of the month....

Love ya.....cera & the 3 BB's forever....

Cera--you'd have loved to see Bart and Gunner go huge! They were amazing jumps--some of the best I've ever seen! And he's also a great competitor and has awesome sportsmanship!

Congrats too to all the other amazing, amazing dogs! :D It was awesome for me to see so many dogs from last year come back out this year and show all their improvements! I'll have to post my favorites list later! Mark and Karla's Friar-Pants 8) is calling for a walk!

Oh--and Cera--I think we really found Chase's spirit running around on the beach Sunday morning! I'm absolute that I got to see her soul soar through Gunner's jumps!

Wow what a great time we had. I want to say how proud I am of Urs. She has worked so hard with Gunner and was very disappointed with his performance last month at the Auburn event. That girl is persistent!!! She has been working very hard on those sit/stays and man did it pay off! Gunner and Urs looked fabulous (never mind with all of those big "pops" Urs cried all day!!) Congratulations again...very well deserved! Bart you and Gunner make it look so easy! You are a magnificent team. There were so many personal bests this weekend it is amazing. Amanda, Mark, Lisa, Randy, Mary, Greg, Tony, Randy W. and all of those who made this a very special event I thank you. It was very important to Jim and I. Also Mary and Randy congratulations on entering the "Hall of Fame" I can't think of two more deserving people. Now finally (otherwise you guys are going to nickname me Maralee) I was so proud of Jim and MickeyD with his 24 whatever jump. Jim was so touched by all the love and hugs. Okay Bart & Urs whats the tip of the day for the sit and stay?
Love ,
Sandra, Jim & MickeyD

Amanda,

Thanks, I'm happy to hear she was enjoying the beach with you guys. I know Chase was with Bart & Gunner I knew if we couldn't be there in body she'd be there in Spirit for them. Bart & LG are always fun to watch and I love this sport because of the teams that play it.

I always wear one of those bracelets that says "life is a team sport" and our sport is one of the best team sports I've ever had the chance to play. Teaming up with your best friend and with friends having fun what more can be said about that. Watching all those teams having fun is always the best time for me :D and it really sounds like the teams were putting on quite a show for you all, happy to hear that B & G came out on top.

When I got home lastnight I just had to go and watch one more time Chase's big jumps from Washington and cry just a little more. Before each jump when I would sit her at the 34ft mark I would pet her set her just right and give her a sweet kiss on her little head, boy was that hard to watch but also good to watch yet again knowing she knew how much I loved her and we were one when we were on the docks together. It's going to be really really tough getting up there again now with her daughter but we'll Get R Done, just might have to be wearing some foster grants when I do :)

See ya soon......cera & the 3BB's forever....

WOW - What a weekend! I am home now and couldn't wait to thank Splash Dogs and all of our Splash Dog family for a great weekend!

I was running ragged as we had flyball and dock jumping all weekend. Running back and forth between the venues.

Thank you everyone for your support this weekend! I am still emotional over the jumps my Gunnerman pulled out :D :D :D :D To get into the final four was to say the least overwhelming....having to have a jump of 24' 8" to get in - how cool is that. :D :D :D 3 weeks ago - it was another story...

Bart & Gunner - I never thought a jump would give me goose bumps - but my goodness that 26 footer was beautiful!

Congrats to Sandra, Jim and Mickey D on his new PB - he and my Gunner keep out doing eachother - can't wait to see what happens in Pittsburg!

Congrats to everone else as well - heard of many new PB's but did not get to witness very many as we were here, there everywhere!

Bubbles, Maximus and Kaua were there representing the bully breeds with pride and athleticism - it is so wonderful for the public to see these breeds in such a positive way!!!

I hope everyone had a great time!

Urs & Gunner - still on cloud 9!

To everyone at SPLASH DOGS.....thank you for a wonderful event. Special congrats to Bart & Gunner, Kona & Tracy...AND of course everyone else......All of you did great. What awesome jumps.....Your dogs are amazing.

It was really nice to meet alot of people that I've talked to on the board but really never have had a chance to meet in person.

Sadie had a great time sharing special moments with some of the children. I want to personally thank Mark for letting Sadie share those moments.
