I agree, this was a very well run event. In addition to the above fine folks, I'd also like to thank Debi for (once again) running a very well organized registration table. She welcomes each person who approaches with a big Texas smile and treats them as her best friend ever. I can't emphasize enough how this sets a positive tone for the whole event. You could say that she's the tail that wags the dog! <groan>
Thanks Sandy for your hard work on behalf of "Chase Away K9 Cancer." I think it's great what you're doing and you have my 100% support.

Sorry we are late posting, but from Marlowe and his mom, we would like to say that we thoroughly enjoyed being there this weekend, as if everyone didn't know. We had a blast. It was fun meeting everyone. It was a very well run competition (having been involved with clubs sponsoring agility events and flyball competitions), it takes a lot to host a successful competition, and heads up, no questions asked, this was very successful. This was our 1st competition and we look forward to more in and around the Texas area.
Speeding tickets were cool, as well as the bracelets for K-9 cancer.
Happy jumping.

Really BIG smiley face!!
What an awesome event! Had a great time meeting the Austin crowd and Emily & company from San Antonio. I cannot recall an event where I have seen such a variety of dogs. Had your usual Labs, Goldens, my favorite GSP Sabine, border collies/aussies but then a Flying Doberman, 2 Novia Scotia Duck Tollers, several JRTs including BooBoo who jumped big and Daniell's boy with a duck as big as he is. I even saw a wet Cocker Spaniel!?! Makes for great fun!!
Thank you to Bass Pro for hosting the event and especially for the discount card. Thanks to Tony, Randy, Jim, and Debi for running the jump.
I'm so PROUD of LIZZIE I could burst. She was one revved up girl and she certainly crashed big time once she got home. Thanks Tony and Mike for throwing some advice my way. Did I say I was proud of Lizzie? Oh, yes I did.:D
I'm really so proud of GANDALF!! She did great at doing something new and out of her element. :p

ETA: I added my signature but it's not showing up yet so I'll just toss it into the actual post so some of you all might know who I am!

Awesome! I am so glad everyone had a great time at this event. There are many people work diligently to bring Splash Dogs to many more locations across the country - BRAVO to you all!
We are working hard to get the word out - could I ask you all to let me know how you heard about the event? Through word of mouth, via message board (and which one:SD msg board, Jumpin Central, Border Collie msg board, Lab msg board), Event Flyer or newspaper. We'd like to see where our advertising efforts are paying off. Just shoot me a quick email to ursula@splashdogs.com if you get a minute.

I would really love to get some photos of Gandalf's record breaking 5 inch jump on Friday. The gentleman who was taking pictures that day told me Saturday he had gotten some of her jump:) and almost jumps.:D
Please email me at goodLabs@att.net if you don't mind sharing those shots with me. (I believe you were with BooBoo the JRT.)
Thanks.
