Not to make more work for you Wendy, but I was wondering if we'd get updated final rankings for 2007 which include Cynosports.

Actually, the 2007 rankings period ended as of Oct 1, 2007. The reason this happened is that we wanted to recognize the top ranked dog and top ranked dogs in a breed at the 2007 awards banquet. So, 2008 rankings began collecting as of 10/1/2007. Cynosports counted towards 2008 rankings.
You might think this sounds odd, but we wanted to make sure that any dog that performed well at the end of 2007 didn't get ignored for the awards. Here's the scenario we are trying to address: imagine hypothetically that a dog that came in and jumped at cynosports and say the florida event in November and jumped in 8 or 9 waves with 28 foot jumps each wave. This dog obviously wouldn't have received the top dog for 2007 since their jumps didn't happen till after the award was decided. And, if their scores counted for 2007 rankings, then they wouldn't be recognized in 2008 either unless they competed again in 2008 - so these jumps basically wouldn't count towards awards unless we adjusted things in some way.
So, 2007 rankings went from 1/1/2007-9/30/2007 and 2008 rankings will go from 10/1/2007-10/1/2008. USDAA agility does things in a similar way.
Let me know if this doesn't make sense or you still have questions.

No, it makes sense. So from here on out, the rankings will be from Oct 1st to the next Oct. 1st. I get it. Thanks!!
