I have a chocolate lab lookalike with athletic tendencies. She escapes a six-foot pen in less than 30 seconds. She climbs a tree in my yard to about three or four feet above my head and just lies there, seeming to enjoy the view. She's a sweetheart, but too much for me to handle. I can picture her in those athletic competitions you see on Animal Planet. Can anyone help connect me to any interested parties? Thanks!!

Where are you located? Also, approximatley how big is she?
I will do my best to pass along to those I know who might be looking to add a high drive dog into their household.

Located in Orlando, Florida--She's tall, long, and lean--about 45 pounds. But I have a hard time keeping weight on her. She's too high strung. She should be more like 55 pounds in my opinion. I lost my job and switched from Purina One, which she had since birth, to Dog Chow. She visibly dropped weight. I'm not in a position to go with a higher quality food right now. My vet has run all the appropriate tests. She needs a higher calorie food. She's very healthy. She just looks too thin. I call her my anorexic puppy. She's 3 years old, will be 4 March 8th, for anyone interested. She's also not spayed yet. The vet wants her to put on more weight! If you hear anything, let me know. My e-mail is repeep1@netzero.com. Feel free to pass it along.
Thanks!

I meant to take a better picture over the weekend. I will make it a point to get one to you. I put your e-mail in my cell phone so I could send it directly to you. Not sure how to go about it with the message board. I will look into it some more. Thanks!

A couple of you asked about pictures, size, etc. This is Wendy, mid-climb in my tree. When she saw me coming she jumped right back down. I can never get a picture of her relaxing in the tree because she sees me coming and gets excited. She's still looking for the right mom and/or dad, hopefully kids too. Anyone interested, please respond here or to repeep1@netzero.com. Thanks!

These two pictures are Wendy's mama, Dory. We have had her since Halloween 2003. Her mom is an Australian Shepherd. She's my problem child...like mother like daughter. When she sees the camera she always cowers--no idea why. So I don't have a single good picture of her. Wendy exists because Dory is a problem child...and an unforseeable series of events. She was scheduled to be spayed in July of 2004. Saturday before her Monday appointment she ate my husband's freshly painted RC Airplane. We don't know if it was the styrofoam, toxic paint, or a combination of the two, but she was in a coma for three days...and we re-scheduled the spay for the last week of August. Then came Hurricanes Charley, Frances, and Jeanne, then came puppies. She was since spayed, of course, but my husband had to keep Wendy because she was "chocolate." But we truly cannot handle her...can't keep her home. She really is a doll.
I have other pictures of Wendy I tried to post, a couple of good headshots. It said I had too many kilobytes or megabytes or whatever. I noticed you all post a lot of large pictures. How do you do it?
Thanks!
