Hello all,
Just wanted to post that the requirements for qualifying for splash dogs 2008 world championships will be the same as 2007. A team must complete 5 scores in a division between Nov 5th 2007 and the splash dogs world championships 2008. You will only qualify in the highest division that you have 5 scores in. A score is the best of 2 jumps in a wave. Finals count as a wave as well. If a dog qualifies in 2 different divisions with 2 different handlers, the dog must compete in the higher of the two divisions, but may compete with either "qualified" handler. A dog may not compete with a handler who does not have 5 scores in a division with that dog in 2008.
Super Vertical qualifying requirements is that the dog has a successful competition "catch" at 5'0" or higher at a splash dogs event between 11/5/2007 and the world championships 2008.
We have yet to determine what other organizations results will also count towards qualifying.
The world championships will most likely be at cynosports in Scottsdale again Oct 29-Nov 2, 2008, but this has NOT been confirmed.
If you are interested in competing please keep checking back on our events page and the messageboard as the months progress. We have not worked out details, but it is possible that we will require pre-registration and we don't want you to miss other important event information as it becomes available.
